    he nodded "the best horse ever" he said petting the horse's neck "do you know how to ride bareback?" he asked

    Carlie nodded.

    He patted the mare's back "up you go then" he said as he took a rope out of his bag and expertly tied a bridal on her head

    Carlie jumped on and sighed happily.

    Carlie kissed at the mare making her go into a canter.

    She closed her eyes and sighed happily. "nothing is better than this; a guy and riding a horse" she thought.

    they neared the house and he slowed the mare down and finally pulled her to a stop when they reached the house. He slipped off the horse and held his hand out to help her down

    Carlie took his hand and slid off.

    "So where is your mom and dad" she asked.

    "my dad is probably out in the barn with the other horses and my mom left us when I was three" he said as he got out the ingredients for pizza

    Carlie nodded "yeah....my older sister takes care of us, my mom died giving birth to me and my dad left before i was born, my sister never said to trust anyone"

    Carlie shrugged "she just doesn't want me to leave her. She won't let me do anything without her, if i want to hang out with my friends they have to go to our house or my sister goes with me"

    "Just cheese" she replied.

    "Thanks" Carlie said leaning against the counter.
