  • Light.
    Bright, bright light.
I walked through a feild of some kind of grain, my pale skin seeming paler in the sunlight. I couldn't help but wonder why, even if it were just a dream, I was actually in sunlight. I then shook off the thought and went back to my temporary bliss. It'd been so long since I was last in the sun...
I then went still, my whole body going ridged with... I wasn't even sure of the emotion. Fear? Relief? Happiness?
They were there again -- those beautiful green eyes.
I smiled, feeling the invisible weights on my body fade away, then ran as fast as I could, desperate to get to the owner of the eyes.
After a while of pacing, the comforting figure of the young woman took shape. Long coppery hair, fair skin, the bright red dress, and, of course, those striking eyes.
I approached the woman, just then realizing that I wore jet black clothing and a silvery necklace that had a ruby pendant shaped into a wolf's claw. It was different from my usual red. I then returned my attention to the unknown girl as I reached out to touch her beautiful face, my light blue eyes shimmering with anticipation. Just one touch...

    Then, I woke up.

[I felt like writing in first person, okay? ;w;]

  • I awoke, breathing heavily and heart beating fast. I wake like this most mornings. I never dream of anything, I just feel blackness all around me and someone reaching for me. It's been this way for years and I have never figured out why. I haven't told anyone either. They'd think I was crazy. I yawn loudly and try to fall back asleep to no advail. I eventually get up and start getting ready to take on the day.

  • I groggily climbed out of my bed. Feeling an uncontrolable lust for blood, I then fixed my sandy brown hair, threw on a random pair of black jeans and a black t-shirt, and slipped on a long coat and left my temporary safe haven -- an old abandoned house that no one cared about enough to clean it up. I was fine if it was dirty or looked like a peice of sh.t, it served it's purpose and kept my hidden during the day.
Drawing in a deep breath, I caught the faint smell of a few females. They were wearing almost nothing and seemed to be flirting with a man in a car. I shook my head, pity in my cold blue eyes, then headed off to my favorite passtime -- a nightclub called the Reaper's Lust.

  • After managing to something with my hair and throwing on some clothes, I descended out to the street. Since school bored me, I had no real purpose for the day, but I was interested in finding one. Weaving through the busy streets, I took streets I didn't know and looked for places I hadn't been before. Looking for an adventure.

  • I then froze slightly at the scent of someone else. I looked up from the ground, trying to pinpoint who had the sickingly sweet smell, then forced myself to ignore it, returning my eyes to the concrete of the sidewalk. I then reached the club before stopping yet again, my eyes clearly showing how thirsty I was. They'd taken on a much lighter shade of blue than their normal navy blue. They were almost a creamy white-ish blue -- I'd been weeks since my last meal.

  • I proceed to do my normal routine: grab some coffee, stop by the nearest bookstore, go by the anime shop a few blocks away. After a while of going in and out of random stores, I see a strange, almost eclectic nightclub ahead. I wouldn't have normally thought much of it, until I saw the guy walking in. I saw his light blue, almost silver eyes staring towards the ground as if trying not to be noticed. Before I knew what I was doing, I was walking in after him.

  • I relaxed almost insantly after walking in. I sat down in one of the stools at the bar before ordering a few drinks. They weren't for me, obviously, but they were good for getting girls drunk and luring them out and into somewhere where no one could see us. I watched the bartender make my drinks as I then shuddered when the smell hit me yet again, and I tried my best to keep my eyes on the wooden bar in front of me, then sighed and glaned over at the door, myself freezing insantly.
    Green eyes...

  • I walked into the nightclub and quickly looked around me. I saw a table in the far corner and tried to look natural as I walked to it. I felt awkward and clumsy. I sat in the chair and looked around more carefully. I don't know how I didn't see the first time, but the guy with silver eyes was staring directly at me. He was sitting at the bar, and I could see many of the girls in the room were also looking at him. I wanted very badly to go and talk to him.

  • I couldn't help but smile when the green eyed one ran into a table, soon standing up with the drinks in my hands before walking over and looking at the seat beside her, a smirk on my lips, "Is this seat taken, ma'am?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. I knew that if my heart was still beating, it'd be pounding right now. I finally found her!

  • I look up at him and my heart skips a beat. Why is he talking to me? I couldn't even begin to fathom it. But I can't say that I didn't enjoy it. I smiled awkwardly and said, "no, it's not." I couldn't really understand this. My mind was going blank. Why did this complete stranger have this effect on me?

  • I happily sat down, my eyes roaming over my new companion's body, then slid the extra drink in front of her and took a small sip of my own, "My name's Damian," I said as I licked my lips slightly, the color in my eyes almost completely draining away. I needed to feed, but there was no way in hell I'd leave my dream girl after seeing her while I slept for years.

  • I took a small sip from the drink Damian gave me. I looked at him and said, "My name is Leda." I can't stop staring. I don't think I noticed it earlier, but he was kinda extraordinarily beautiful. I realized then that he looked familiar. Strikingly so. "Have we ever met before?" I asked him.

  • I watched this so called 'Leda' carefully, somewhat making notes of how she moved, then heard her question. Had she been plagued with the dreams as well? I then shook my head as I smiled, stirring my drink with my finger gently, "Not that I know of -- I would have remembered your eyes,"

  • I was very confused by his comment. "My eyes?" I asked. I normally had people talk about my eyes, but I had never been identified by them before.

  • [align=center][font=georgia][color=white][sub]I let out a light laugh as I set my glass down on the table, "They're beautiful... " I whispered, then frowned slightly and looked up, "You've never noticed your beauty before?"

  • I was completely stunned. I couldn't speak for a few seconds. Beautiful? Me? The words had probably never been in the same sentence before. I certainly had never thought of myself that way. After I could finally speak, I was blushing very badly. "I don't know what you mean. I'm nothing more than ordinary. Definitely not beautiful."

  • [align=center][font=georgia][color=black][sub]I chuckled before shuddering when the scent came to my again. I bit my lip, my throat burning, then took your hand gently before telling you I needed you to come with me. I didn't care for making up some story or lying now. I just needed blood to satisfy me.

  • I felt him touch my hand and wanted nothing more than to follow him. I might've followed him anywhere. The feel of his skin on mine was almost intoxicating. I stood up and let him lead me out.

  • [align=center][font=georgia][color=white][sub]I sighed when I lead her out of the building before heading down an alleyway. I then let her go before gently pressing her back against a wall, nuzzling my nose into her neck a few moments later. I breathed in deeply as I smiled, my eyes closing, then I opened my mouth and sank my fangs into her flesh, growling like the animal I was.
