  • Bella forced herself up and held onto something, even though she had no idea what it was. She let out a cry of help that ended with a shriek. She twisted her right ankle and she had no choice but to limp if she were to move. Bella saw a small glint of light. Bella moved as fast as her weak body could take her towards the place where the light had been a memnt before. Once she got close to the light it reveled the woods and in the distance she saw a male figure in the distance that looked very similar to her step brother, Ryan.

She murmured, gazing at them seriously. A chill rose up her spine and she turned, whipping around her rapier (a type of blade) and decapitating another undead. Her eyes twinkled at the head rolling around, and she swung her blade over her shoulder and put one hand on her hip. Her top was rolled up past her belly, to cool her down, and she wore cargo pants and a pony tail. Since she woke in dirt, she was messy. Veronica walked closer.

The girl stepped back as the masculine boy fell out of no where, making her stumble against a rock, falling back she gaped. Feeling a rush of pain triggered up her back to sting her spine. Wincing, Riley bit her lip. The barable pain, made her arch forward to sit up. Her hair falling over her face, she casts the two girls and the one boy a glare. Standing up, she emerged from the shadows now, holding her back with ease. Approaching them, she dipped her head. But seeming to make out the girl's words, Riley put on a faint smile. That soon faded into nothingness.

" He's still alive." The girl tilted her head, staring down the bleeding boy. Watching the girl bandage him up, her eyes narrowed at her second comment. " A smart girl never leaves home without them." A sigh escaped Riley, who put herself out there as 'Lou'. Awaiting anything else to happen, she pressed her lips together. Sucking in a breath to speak.
" You sure he's going to be okay?" French accent filling the cool air that floated around them. Her voice was that of an angels.

  • [align=center][font=georgia][color=white] k guys... no more. I trust you. xD
Blame my mom for kicking me off and blame my school for giving her a reason

  • Don't trust me..I must reply to this, then I swear we'll be done. This post before me, is calling my name. \Looks at the heavens\

Austin's aqua eyes fluttered open, brimming with warmth, as he stared up at the girl. "Th-thank you," He murmured to them, voice weak. The pain of his wound seemed to have eased a lot, because he felt more light, persay. Smiling at them, he staggered to his feet, putting his hand on the girl's shoulder for support, but didn't know it was the girl. Afraid she might retaliate, and get the wrong idea, he flinched, and pulled his hand away.

Kyley, I fortunately got my phone back. I'll text you at midnight, kay?

    " Th-thank you."

Hearing his rasping words, she half whimpered though now the only thing that buzzed in her ears were total silence. The girl watched the boy with wary eyes, her lavender velvet scorching with worry, she never liked seeing others hurt. Riley reached out to grab his hand, tugging him up to stand. Being the kind and generous person she was, she balanced him some. Letting the boy regain control by holding onto her shoulder for support. A faint emotionless expression crossed over her face. Yet, she managed to speak some. " You okay?" Riley asked, looking over him once. Noticing how worn down his body seemed to appear as, she bit the inside of her cheek.

  • Austin nodded. "Thank you," He replied weakly. His aqua eyes were filled with gratitude for the girl, but contempt for the Changed. "I want to kill them." He muttered out loud. Flexing his biceps, the shirtless boy looked towards the forest, a new light in his eyes. Gently, he put his strong, masculine left hand upon his chest, on the wound. The agony he suffered before, seemed to have eased nearly all the way, because he only felt a little sting. Picking up his bag and his gun, he looked towards the group. "I'm going to make camp in the forest. I believe you should all join me." Invitingly, he signaled with his right hand, for the group of other survivors to follow his lead.

    " Thank you,"

Riley let a warm smile deceive her features, hair flowing over her shoulders to ride with the gentle breeze that carried along side her. The girl laced her hand over her right ear lob, rubbing behind the cartilage to sooth it from throbbing. The whispers around her, some of which came from the whistles of the wind and soft yet rough voices of the survivors. " I want to kill them." Riley had made out what the boy said clearly, before her hearing gave out. "I'm going to make camp in the forest. I believe you should all join me." His last comment, she couldn't make out what the boy was saying, which made her eyes go to slanted slits, turning into narrows of the utmost confusion. She mouthed something, trying to read his lips but he turned to quickly for her too understand. A blank expression washed over her, pale face seeming to turn green like she was going to vomit, edging towards him some, wanting to know what he had said.

The honey brown haired girl reached her index finger out, " Excuse me?" Angelic French accent falling off the tip of her tongue. Hopefully not disturbing the young man, she tapped him lightly on the tip of his broad shoulder blade, awaiting for him to whirl around with a already out-sheathed hand. She let herself flinch some, waiting impact from his hand to her face. That's usually what people did to her, that's really all she got was a slap in the face when she just tapped someone on the shoulder. Yeah, they would apologize but, it would always be the same excuse for every apology. 'Sorry I have reflexes!' Then they would rush off like nothing ever happened, when all Riley really wanted was an answer to a question, not a fucking greeting of a slap to the face!

Everything was just happening too fast for the young girl to handle, Annah's eyes dropped down as Austin collapsed on the ground. Before she could do anything, a girl took the lead and she handled it better than Annah ever could have. Though Annah did know enough about nursing skills to survive from. She knew a lot of survival. Enough of survival. She had to fight surviving everyday just to survive the monster in her head.

All she wondered was why did it happen today? December the second how nice. She could even almost smell the weather. A nearby blizzard. How nice. She didn't even need her senses really to pick up the frostbitten cold on her skin. She'd have to find shelter soon. There was too many of everybody, she knew she couldn't handle everyone. Sharing shelter with everyone. Not all of them even were prepared. Not all of them had packs.... they wouldn't survive for long.

Looking at the honey blonde coming from the shadows, making her way over to the others, she sighed. How many more? Only to hear a sound behind her. It was all too much. Everyone seemed sort of preoccupied so... why not escape now? It was starting to be late, five p.m., an hour later the sun will be setting. She should head back, see if her car would start so she could get the hell out and maybe find Aunt Elise.

Changed... so that's what they call it. That snagged her attention as she backed away from the others, trying not to trip or fall. Before she headed to her car, she'd stop at the Ranger's Station. Maybe there were people there. People to tell her exactly what the hell was going on because she was dying to know. Her brain swarmed with so many questions that wouldn't probably get too many answers.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=#150517; borderwidth=; border-radius: 10px; border: 3px dotted #00FFFF; border-top: 0px; border-bottom: 0px; border-right: 0px; ] Veronica lowered her brow to glare. "Well?!" She raised her voice. "Are there any more survivors?!" Her arms crossed over her chest, impatient for the answer. "We seriously don't have all day here."

  • "Ryan!" Bella called to her step-brother once she caught sight of him. She limped as fast as she could and grasped her step-brothers muscular bicep so she could stay balanced and catch her breath. Ryan at first looked very confused until he realized who she was. "Bella? Your alive!" Ryan said with great joy and had no choice but to hug Bella. He wrapped his muscular arms around her and smiled to himself. It was the first time that he felt happy after...this happened. "Not so tight." Bella pleaded and tried to pull away. "Sorry," Ryan said as he let go and made a awkward smile.

Bella brushed her dark brown hair out of her eyes and used a bunch of grass to put her hair into a high pony tail. She saw a bunch of people walking in the distance. She squinted a bit to see them better. She let her eye lids go back to normal and watched them for a bit with her brown eyes. Bella pointed to them to get Ryan's attention. "Ryan, look. Some people are over there." Ryan grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards the other people. Bella limped behind him. "We need to go and meet them."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=#150517; borderwidth=; border-radius: 10px; border: 3px dotted #00FFFF; border-top: 0px; border-bottom: 0px; border-right: 0px; ] Veronica's left ear moved slightly and she looked to the side, seeing more survivors. "You!" She called loudly, tugging her ponytail tighter so it wouldn't fall.

  • Bella slipped her wrist out of Ryan's grasp and played with a string of her brown hair. She avoided everyone's gazes and looks. She bit her lip without knowing it andonce she realized that she was biting her lip she immediately stopped. Ryan walked closer to the group whichbleft Bella no choice but to follow. "Hey-" Ryan was saying but was cut off by Bella pushing him down. "Watch out!" Bell screamed to the others as held Ryan down to the ground and ducked down too. She saw a pair of Changed coming speedily towards the survivors as they threw various things such as heavy stones. She slipped her hand into Ryan's back pocket and pulled out a jack knife.

Bella pushed herself off of Ryan's back with her slender arms and kept a tight grip on the jack knife. She made the sharpest part of the knife point towards the Changed. She limped as fast as she could go. As she ran towards the Changed, adrenaline ran through her and that pushed her forward without hesitiantion. She kicked one of the Changed to the ground and sliced the jack knife through the other Changed's neck. Something, or someone, grabbed Bella's arm from behind her. The grip that the Changed had was unbearable. "There's more!" She called loudly as she fought off another Changed. Ryan pushed myself up

  • Austin whirled around to face Riley, a half smile upon his lips. "May I help you?" He asked politely, with that handsome smile, and a deep, rumbling voice that sounded ever so gentle and masculine. The girl before him was very attractive, he observed, a bit shy she seemed, but also was a 'take charge' kind of girl. He knew he could come to like her. Lowering his gun, so as not to frighten any of the group, and think he was trying to harm them, he looked the girl over, with his aqua eyes shimmering. The surrounding of the aqua was a cerulean, narrow around the outside, but more widened around the pupil.

[color=purple][font=georgia] Annah's golden, or what people would consider, hazel eyes looked around, trying to remember where she was headed as she walked on, taking a long cool sip of water from her canteen. Everything was silent as she wandered away from the other surivivors and she knew it was probably not the best idea to go alone but if she gave any care in the world about it, she would have stayed. She could take care of herself. She didn't need to put the weight of other survivors on her hands. Traveling in a big group wasn't the best anyways. It was easier to hide alone. Alone was just how she wanted it. How'd she like it. Independence always took toll on itself when it came to the young blonde.

She finally stopped, making sure there was no roadkill scent, no one else, and pulled out her map. She unrolled it slowly, her eyes meeting with the printed paper spotting the Ranger's Station. That was like, ten miles back. She remembered then she had been here for the last four days walking to Lake Waccamaw and if she didn't make it to the Ranger's Station by tonight, which she was sure she wouldn't she'd sleep, only a little bit, and keep an eye out for any Changed. She really never thought this through. Sleeping while animal-like humans wandered the forest.... bad idea.

The girl winced as the boy finally came to his senses, whirling around to face Riley. Her eyes were sealed shut, tight so she wouldn't have to feel the hit. Though it never came, she never did feel the sudden clash of his palm across her cheek. Which made her raise her hand, pressing the palm against her cheek she fluttered her eyes open some. Noticing at the corner of her eye the boy just standing there, seeming to be awaiting an answer. She could hear his faint words, for they came out in slurs. " May I help you?" The purple eyed girl rotated her head to face him, lush olive face was pale with nervousness. For she was certainly a shy one, probably not the most talkative of people, the outcast maybe.

Riley blinked, scanning him over, she examined his masculine frame, and then his face. Which of course, flushed with a strong confidence and courageous stake. Making her even more attracted to this boy, whom she soon to ask the name of. Sucking in air, she bit her bottom lip before speaking in a light and gentle, flowing tone. " I can't hear you?" The honey blonde pointed to her ears, tapping them once. She shrugged, shaking her head, indicating that she has hearing problems. " Mind repeating what you said? Something about, camping? I think?" Her voice went low some, though held pride and independence in every word spoken from her.
