    Icestar dragged herself over to the entrance of the medicine den. She wanted to see if Vintagetail could handle talking to the clan.

    IF: What Icestar really wanted to see was if Vintagetail would make a good deputy. She remembered hearing that Onxyclaw drowned, so of course her next choice for deputy was Vintagetail. Except, this would prove wether or not Vintagetail could handle addressing her clanmates.
