  • Name: Ashes
    Gender: She-cat
    Age: 18 moons
    Appearance:

Personality: She the total package - suave, smart, and strong, yet a little bit naïve and innocent. She has the whole world under her spell, and she can influence almost everyone she knows. She is a kind and gentle soul, and a quiet spirit which adds to her beauty.
    Other:

Plot: Ok so this was my idea, you know the one I'd been playing around with for some time. It's about your character kidnapping mine, not for selfish reasons, but because he loves her. One problem, they've never met, he doesn't know her, and she doesn't him. As he was walking through the forest on a beautiful fall (yeah I know it's actual winter :P) afternoon, he sees her and falls head over heels in love. And it goes from there, he can be sweet and kind, or mean and cruel, or a bit of both, I don't care.

  • Sounds great, my boy Dust will probably work best with this. So that sounds good, he could capture her because he loves her, and because he's dellusional and deranged, he loves her despite not understanding how bad the circumstances are. Perhaps her feelings for him could grow and she could end up loving him too, but is torn between love and fear for him? Mind making the first post? You seem to have a better idea for scenery, setting and the like considering its your plot.

  • OOC: Sure I'd be happy with starting off, and you're right he seems like a good character for this. Also I am perfectly fine with them falling in love later on, that's where I was headed once we got a fair distance into the plot. :)

IC: Ashes walked through the cool forest, a slight breeze made her fur dance an ripple. Her paws made little sound as the stepped over the red and orange leaves the trees had dropped. Her green eyes sparkled as the sunlight fell upon them, the sun warmed her grey pelt as she walked. Stopping beside a clear pool of water, Ashes bent down and lapped up the refreshing water, she then remained sitting unaware of any possible dangers.

  • (Hope its not too big a post)

Grey paws came down clumsily on the earth, as Dust made a steady way through his forested home. He hated fall, the leaves always settled on his pelt, and he always ended up standing on pinecones and other uninviting objects. He gave a sigh, taking a pause to investigate an unfinished digout at the foot of an oak tree, having noticed a hare run through this area not so long ago. He made a mental note to check back. He glanced around with a huff, having arrived at his destination, merely a few tailpaces from her but hidden within the trees. He was certain there was a river exactly where he stood now- it was there yesterday. He remembered standing by it. But now it wasn't there. He shrugged, things often switched places in the forest, it was a wonder he could find his home the amount of times things moved. But they hadn't really, merely another one of his dellusions, having him believe something was there when it wasn't. Like a mirage, only without the dehydration.

Not long after giving up his mission to find the river, he sauntered back the way he had come, pausing when he could hear faint pawsteps not far from him. Turning back, he caught a glimpse of another cat, and the scent of a female clanless cat caught his attention. Peering closer but still out of her line of sight, he observed the cat. Despite having not met her, or even seen her around this forest in his life, he felt an overwhelming sense of emotions towards the pretty longhaired treasure. Though he knew she knew him, he remembered meeting her a couple of months ago. She had shown no interest in him and walked off at the earliest opportunity. Though she wouldn't agree with this. More delusions. Though this time, he knew exactly how to bring her under his wing. But first, he needed freshkill.

  • (Not to long at all :))

As Ashes sat beside the forest pool a scent was carried past her on the wind, it was a tom that was to her. Yet she wasn't afraid, why would she be? She didn't recognize his scent so she figured she'd never met him, so in her mind she had no reason to doubt him. Although he may not even come around so she didn't need to even bother worrying about something that may or may not occur. She settled down, belly brushing the earth where she now lay. She closed her green eyes, contented and at peace.

(Be right back got to take a shower, be back in 5-10 min.)

  • He blinked several times, admiring the beauty of the she-cat, ears curled back until they flicked at the sound of a snapping twig. A bird, though it had already flown off before he gave it a glance. He silently retreated, going back along the path he had come, eyes scanning the undergrowth around him for any signs of prey. He had a perfect little plan worked out in his head, and now the first component to his plan had already caught his senses. A mouse, merely inches away as it foolishly scampered along his path. He snapped it up quite easily in seconds, before placing it under a tree to be collected later. Merely a few minutes later, he had accumulated another mouse, and headed back towards where the she-cat lay. She hadn't even told him her name. He knew her though, her brother was in Scarclan when he was chased out. He could remember it crystal clear. With both mice hanging from his jaws he retreated to a secluded spot a little deeper where the trees grew denser. He knew exactly what he was looking for, and sure enough he found the bright orange flowers that grew under the trees he was surrounded by. The only place they grew. Snatching up a few, he crumpled the scentless petals and gently poked them down the throat of one of the mice out of site. He then headed back for her, padding out of the trees and towards her.

  • Ashes breathed deeply taking in the scents of the woods, the birds were singing beautiful tunes, the creek babbled a little ways off, fish jumped and splashed and squirrels called to one another as the played in the tree tops. The scent of mice, squirrels and birds caused her mouth to water, and her atomach to growl. She hasn't realized how hungry she was until just then. However Ashes was to much at peace and calm to get up and bother hunting, it could wait till later. She then noticed amongst the smells of all the forest that the toms was no longer there, she smiled in satisfaction, nothing to worry about.

  • He came padding up with both mice, with nearest to what could be called a friendly smile on his usually stoney face. "Hello my dear, you seem to have picked a nice spot here. Care for some lunch? I found there was no shortage of mice around here" he spoke quite warmly, something he hadn't done in a while. But he still couldn't rid himself of the strong feelings for this cat, but if she had blanked him once, then he would have to try a different approach to win her love. Suprisingly, this wasn't the first time he had done something like this. He placed the mouse with the petals in a few feet from her, settling down a distance away to eat his. The plant was infact a mildly poisonous plant called Dagga, known as lions tail. It provoked sickness and dizzyness, and well as irritating the throat. It usually took around ten minutes to work, but it wasn't enough to knock her out. It would simply make her more vunerable, and she would easily fall into his paws. It didn't last long either, only for a couple of hours at its best.

  • Ashes opened her clear green eyes to look at the rather handsome tom before her, "Hello there." She said with a smile and pulling herself to her paws to a sitting position. She looked down at the two mice and felt her ears grow hot with his invitation to dine with him. "I would be delighted to eat lunch with you." she said gratefully, wrapping her tail over her paws. She invites him to sit with a simple flick of the tail, she brushed away the leaves with her long bushy tail leaving a comfortable place to sit, she then wrapped her tail once again over her paws.

  • He raised an eyebrow, instantly suprised by the warmth and hospitality she showed towards him. Surely she mustn't reconize him, for she had blanked him last time they had met, in his mind that is. "I'm glad" he replied simply, a confused gaze reflecting apon the sudden change of heart she was showing. He suddenly felt rather guilty, but it was too late anyway, and he had to carry through his scheme. He ate the mouse rather quickly, trying not to take too much notice in whether she had started eating. He merely had to keep up a conversation until the drugs kicked in and she was his. Though he couldn't fight a sense of guilt he was feeling. He fell silent, pondering over what else he could say. He was never good at holding conversations, being as anti-social as he was.

  • She took a small bite from the freshkill; a dozen flavored burst on her tongue as she chewed the tender mouse. She then finished the mouse quickly and daintily, pushing the bones and scraps of fur away. "Thank you- I never did get your name." Ashes said smiling at him, not even aware of the drugs which had been planted into her food. "I'm Ashes by the way." She said continuing conversation.

  • "Why, we have met before though, don't you remember?" he asked with a tilt of his head, wanting to know why she was pretending to not know him. Perhaps she had felt guilty about blanking him? If she loved him it would work out even better. "A couple of months ago, down by the river not far from here....But, I'm Dust....." he explained, getting cross at himself because he couldn't understand what was going on. He tapped his foot impatiently, glancing up at the sky once. He wanted to get home before it either started raining, or got dark, both which seemed to be at a rather close stage right now.

  • Ashes tilted her head, "We've met? I don't believe I remember us meeting, if we did meet. Are you sure you aren't confusing me for someone." She cleared her throat feeling a slight tickle, she thought nothing of it until it kept growing until she coughed and shook her head as if to clear it. Her legs suddenly felt very weak and her paws trembled.

  • I'm certain He thought with a silent growl, though the smile still remained on his face. What he really said was "Oh, I may have, you see a lot of cats passing through here"
He gave his fur a quick groom with his tongue, simply to pass the time, before his gaze returned swiftly at the sound of a cough. His eyes shone with sick delight, before he faked a look of concern. "Are you alright my dear? You don't look to chirpy..." he asked, noticing how trembly she was. He continued to look at her, his concern moderately believable.

  • "I- I don't know, I just feel different." Ashes said ears slightly flat, she looked at him eyes glistening with discomfort. She shuddered as the flower began to grow more powerful. She tried to shake off this horrible feeling in her belly that soon spread through her.

  • He frowned, the guilt still plaguing despite the fact she was lying about knowing him. But he could have done worse right? He didn't want to hurt his love, but she wasn't going to come willingly, well in his plan anyway. "Perhaps....You should have a lie down, my den is merely a quick walk away, I can look after you for a while, see if I have any herbs to try make you feel a little better" he said gently, standing up and giving her a gentle nudge, noticing the wind had picked up slightly.

  • "Yes, if it isn't- isn't to much trouble." She said stuttering, even her speech was shaking from the effects of the poisonous flower. She shivered as the wind began blowing fiercely. She stood shakily almost sinking to her feet from the shakiness of her limbs, she took a step and nearly tripped. She leaned against him slightly trying to keep her footing.

  • "No trouble at all, you really look quite ill m'dear..." he replied, watching her disorientated figure try and clamber to its paws. As she almost tripped he caught her, steadying himself so she could lean on him comfortably. All his cruel intentions had been erased from his peculiar mind, and he really believed he was helping her. He bagan to steadily walk back, supporting her light frame as he went, tail resting on her back intentionally. "Its a good job I came across you when I did, who knows what could have happened. Just don't faint on me ok?" he chuckled jokily, finding it easier to talk to her like he had known her all his life.

(Quitting bolding speech while I'm on my ipod, its too fiddly and annoying)

  • (Ok :))

She gave him a faint smile, but it was disfigured into a grimace of discomfort. She felt herself lean against him still growing weaker with each step, she hoped the den wasn't to far from where they were, she didn't know if her paws would hold her up.

  • It was merely a five minute stumble, through the thicket of trees to a clearing in the centre where flat rocks were stacked like playing cards into a mass of climbable platforms. In one of the gaps between two rocks was a large hole, evident of an abandoned fox set. "Just down here hun" he purred comfortingly, being genuinly caring despite this being his fault. As he helped her down, the passageway was narrow enough for her to use the wall to help her down. Merely ten steps down into the tunnel it erupted into a large cave like room where a moss nest lay, along with a small pile of freshkill. One thing she hadn't realized though, was he had rolled a stone over the entrance as they went down.
