Darkflame smiled at the egg and nuzzled melody, "it is a beautiful egg."
Rathalos nodded but he was still concerned. He gently put his wing over her and curled around her.

"Thats because it's yours." Melody said as she nuzzled him. She winced again as she laid another egg, a lot smaller than the first.

Darkflame smiled and saw the next egg and smiled even more greatly. He watched over melody and the eggs.

melody made a purring sound, and curled around the eggs. "I love you..."

Darkflame curled around melody and put his wing over her. He nuzzled her, "I love you too but now get some sleep."

"Okay," Melody said sadly, wanting to wait for the eggs to hatch before she fell asleep. "Wake me if they hatch?"

Darkflame chuckled and rolled his eyes and then sighed. "Ok, ok I will but will you get some rest. I don't want you too tired for when they do hatch." He nuzzled her and kissed her.

Melody smiled and curled up closer to him, with both eggs resting against her belly, and reluctantly closed her eyes. After a moment she fell asleep, exhausted from giving birth.

Darkflame put his wing over her and the eggs and laid his head down. He wrapped his tail around her for protection of their eggs and her.

Nyx had followed him back to their room, her expression showing none of the worry she felt for her daughter until they were in the privacy of their room.

Blaze looked at nyx then laid his head down.

Nyx curled up next to him.

Blaze put his wing over her and nuzzled her, "what are we going to do? Phoenix and his love ran away and luna isn't even close to ready to be a queen."

"I don't know..." Nyx admitted. "We could have Melody and Darkflame run the kingdome until Luna comes of age..."

Blaze nodded, "well that would be a good idea but would they?"

"Not if they're busy with their egg or eggs." Nyx said with a sigh.

Blaze thought for a moment then sighed, "it wouldn't hurt to ask right?"

"Right. I'll talk to Darkflame tomorrow if I can pry him away from his mate and eggs." Nyx offered.

Blaze nodded, "yea and he can talk to his mate and try to get her to agree." He nuzzled her, "you come up with such brilliant ideas."

"I get them from my amazing mate. I don't think he knows just how smart he is." Nyx smiled and nuzzled him.
