    Darkflame smiled and put his wing over her. He was relaxed but jumped up stiff, "melody I think we should get you to the nest. I don't want you laying our eggs in the dining hall where you would be expose to others."


    Rathalos looked at her and followed behind her but a little slower to let her have her space.


    Blaze chuckled and got up, "follow me my queen. But first put on your best jewerly and meet me down in the dining hall." He soon left to his special room and put on his armor which matched his fiery scales.

    Melody rolled her eyes and got up. "I'll be fine. But I'm tired, so lets head up there." She began waddling towards the door, not feeling very attractive as she did so.


    Luna closed her eyes as she continued up. Something flew past her and through her wing, tearing it and causing her to start falling. She let out a startled cry and screamed for her mate.


    Nyx went and adorned herself with her favorite jewels and her crown. She had an idea of what her mate was up to, and was looking forward to seeing him in his armor.

    Darkflame walked beside his mate and by the look on her face she could tell she was having trouble and she didn't seem happy. He put his wing over her and let her lean against him as he helped her up to their room and into the nest.


    Rathalos quickly went into fear and flew after his mate. It was a good thing he was below her. He flew upside down and caught her. He held onto her tightly as he turned around. "What happened luna? He nuzzled her to help her calm down.


    Blaze went into the dining hall and had it arranged to be the ball room as well. He had the band began playing. ( )

    Melody laid down greatfully and used her wings to hide her belly. By the size of it, she was guessing she would be having two eggs.


    Luna hid her face against his chest as she trembled and whimpered. Her wing was badly torn and bleeding, the thing that caused her injury nowhere in sight.


    Nyx smiled as she walked into the ballroom and saw her handsome mate. She didn't pay much attention to the music as Blaze captured her attention.

    Darkflame laid down behind melody and nuzzled her cheek, "whats wrong melody?"


    Rathalos looked around to try and find what frightened and hurt her. He couldn't see anything but open sky. He looked down at luna and kissed her neck. He carried her in the air. He wasn't going to let go of her till she was herself again.


    Blaze smiled at nyx and walked over to her and grabbed her claw and kissed it. "Hello beautiful, young maiden. Would you care to dance?"

    "Nothing... really." Melody said, snuggling up to him.


    Luna kept her eyes shut, her wing hurting and slowly becoming dizzy as he flew. "Baby, can we go inside?" she asked softly.


    Nyx blushed, "Of course I'd love to dance with you. What sane dragoness wouldnt want to dance with a handsome, strong, king in battle armor?"

    Darkflame smiled and put his wing over her and put his cheek against hers. "Are you sure you know you can tell me anything. Is it that you are afraid of the eggs?"


    Rathalos nodded, "yes of course." He flew inside and gently set her in the nest. "You want me to get your father to look at your wing?"


    Blaze smiled, "there are few who would not want to be around an old king like me." He began to dance with her.

    "Yes dear, I know. And no, I'm not scared... just not feeling attractive." Melody said shyly.


    Luna shook her head, "No... I'm fine... He doesn't need to be wasting his time on me."


    Nyx danced with him, "Please, you are still the most handsome dragon I have ever met. and a very good lover, so you aren't as old as you make it seem."

    Darkflame smiled and chuckled, "melody my love. Don't feel that way. I am more attracted to you than I ever have been and that is a promise." He nuzzled her and kissed her deepply.


    Rathalos shook his head, "what father would he be if he didn't have time to make sure you were ok. I am not a doctor but that wing doesn't look to good and I bet you can't close it without it hurting. No he needs to know about this."


    Blaze smiled, "ah but you are so great at being my mate, that I can't even put it into words." He stopped holding her claws in his and kissed her passionately. "But if I had to I would say you are the only soul mate in the world for me. If you were to fall ill, I would fall ill with you and die right by your side."

    "I highly doubt that you find me more attractive carrying your young." Melody said, rolling her eyes.


    Luna curled up, not wanting to answer him.


    Nyx felt tears prick her eyes, "Oh my love. I know you are the only one for me as well."

    Darkflame chuckled and kissed her cheek, "you never know my sweet love." He tickled her with his tail.


    Rathalos sighed, "if it means that much to you then I won't tell him."


    Blaze smiled and pulled her close and hugged her. Standing on his back legs to embrace her fully.

    Melody giggled and tried to fend him off but it was hard to do much in this state.


    "Go ahead and tell him..." Luna whispered. Her wing really did hurt and she wanted her daddy.


    Nyx enjoyed the cool feeling of his armor against her scales and stood up to hug him back.

    Darkflame smiled and stopped, he nuzzled her.


    Rathalos nodded and went to blaze and nyx. "My king and queen, luna was hurt by something in the air and I don't know how to help her."


    Blaze listened to rathalos and looked at his mate and ran to luna.

    Melody smiled and nuzzled him back. She felt a pain in her stomach and pulled away slightly.


    Luna lay with her head on her claws and her eyes shut tightly.


    Nyx followed her mate, wanting to make sure her baby girl was okay.

    Darkflame looked at her concerned, "is everything ok melody?"


    Rathalos came back and laid down next to luna and nuzzled her.


    Blaze walked in and looked at luna. He walked over to her and gently nudged her, "tell me what's wrong luna."

    Melody shook her head, "I think it's time..."


    Luna held back tears as she showed him her wing, it was torn more than Rathalos had thought.

    Darkflame nodded and got up to give her room and nuzzled her cheek, "I will be right here beside you."


    Rathalos frowned and he was concerned.


    Blaze shook his head and looked around the room till he found a small kit he kept just incase for luna. He took out a gauze and he went back to her and licked her wing a few times then wrapped the gauze around her wing multiple of times. He finished putting the gauze on and nuzzled her, "I want you here and get some rest. No more flying until that wing heals."

    Melody nodded and closed her eyes as she had another contraction. She whimpered and growled in pain.


    Luna nodded, not wanting to fly anymore anyways. She was scared to fly now, and it would take a miracle to get her off the ground.

    Darkflame nuzzled her and watched. He was kind of sad because he could not help her anymore than just nuzzling her and giving her encouragement.


    Blaze stared at her for a moment kind of worried but he would leave her to rathalos so he turned and left out and went back to his and his mate's room.


    Rathalos nuzzled her and kissed her cheek. "Whats wrong my princess?"

    Melody growled as she layed an egg. Tears pricked her eyes and her breathing became uneven. She clenched her jaw, digging her claws into the nest. She relaxed slightly and pulled the egg close to her so she could see it.


    Luna shook her head but kissed him back. "It's nothing, Love. I promise." She rested against him, mindful of her wing, and enjoyed the warmth of his scales on hers.
