    Sanity padded into Mintys burrow. "I would let you stay out longer, but the fox, he got a bit... Aggressive after you left." Sanity sat down next to her adopted daughter.

    "but she upset minty" he growled, why did everyone hate him? he did nothing wrong all his life, one time he got mad, so now he had to live the rest of his life in a cage? he wanted to help mint, get vengance..but now..

    "he attacked me after i told you you had a mate" she said "he thought i upset you"

    Sanity flattened her large ears to her head. She turned her look away, her big brown eyes sorrowful. "He found out you had a mate." She whispered.

    Ferrin sighed and went into the cage, and laid down. It was a bit cold in there. "Even if she did, I do not think it is wise to attack her. You probably lost an ally in Raspberry. She was actaully getting on the side to free you." He got up and nudged the fox with his muzzle. "I'll ask the quenn to let me take you hunting tomorrow. Do you agree?" he said, softening up to the fox.

    "fine.." he growled, he wanted to talk to minty instead, but he knew, now, she is taken by a tiny little fennec thats smaller than her.."(sigh) am i really that pathetic?" he said outloud

    "theres just some things you cant change.." he growled "like the fact minty's mate is smaller than her.."

    Ferrin perked his ears, so that's what it was all about. "Exactly. He is also the Hier, and therefore, your prince." The fox wasn't so bad.

    All this time afte storming off earl decided to eaves drop. Nothing ever went wrong with that.

    "did mint ever get a say in this? ever think she has feelings?" smoke growled

    "Aye, I did, do you know Minty? How do you know she doesn't love the Hier? If I'm not mistaken you just met her for the first time today."

    raspberry now felt pitty "you know, you have all the right to visit him in the prison" she said

    Ferrin got up and went out of the room, and back to the warm and sunny dessert. There were other things to do besides arguing with a fox. Like catching the remaining rays of the sun. Or he could go looking for earl.

    for some reason he always seemed to pick up all the arguments when eavesdropping. not always ba d though.

    Ferrin spotted the young scout. He was about to ask him what he was doing. Instead he silently padded up next to him and got ready to yell in his ear. He would get a taste of his own medicine.
