  • Blake laughed at Alex's nervousness. "Are you dragging her into your mischievous ways?" He asked slinging an arm around Alex's shoulders.

Skyler rolled her eyes. "Please. She practically BEGGED me to get her out of math." She chuckled.

Blake raised a brow and looked at Alex. "Oh really?" He smiled as they walked into the dining hall.

  • "Something like that." Alex nervously chuckled again, she disliked math, even though she was good at it. Alex was good at school because she studied hard, worked hard, because if she wanted to have a better life after school, she had to work hard.
"But who in their right mind likes math?"

Amber smiled, "I think I've met your sister."

  • "She's in the same class as you and me, so...it's not uncommon," he finished. Mikuri came over to their table after dumping her tray in the trash. "Hi Kiro and Amber," she said cheerfully.

  • Blake chuckled. "Good point." His eyes looked around the dining hall. "I'm going to go get some food." His hand gestured to the lunch line. "Want me to get you anything?" He asked.

Skyler laughed to herself. "Not that hungry." She put her hand up. "I think I'll go find a seat though."

  • Alex didnt want to wait in line, she shook her head, it wasn't even worth it. Plus she was a picky eater, because Alex is a vegitarian.
"Mind if I join you sky?" She asked, hopefully, expecting a no. She was used to sitting alone

  • Skyler smiled. "Sure!" She started walking towards the tables. "Anywhere in particular you want to sit?" She asked.

Blake smiled and turned to get lunch. He ended up getting a grilled cheese and a small soda.

  • "Nope... It doesn't matter." Alex shrugged as she fallowed her friend, she noticed she still had her guitar, of coarse in its case, there was a strap so that she could carry it on her back. Alex sighed, she'd put it back later.

  • "Alright then~" Skyler found a nice table by the window. "Hey you still have your guitar!" She said excited. "Why don't you play a lil something?"

  • "Will it help if you close your eyes?" Skyler asked smiling. "Just imagine like no one else is here." She tried to encourage her friend.

Blake was started to get irritated at the line for the Jello.

  • "We'll I hope you know that when nobody's around, I sing, so be prepared." Alex sighed taking out her guitar, strumming a few times, it was her mothers, and it had flowers carved into the front. Alex took a deep breath, and closed her eyes, pretending she was alone, in her room, as she started to play, and sing... It was a habit when she was alone.

OOC. Hope it works with the youtube thing, but if it doesn't...

  • Skyler watched with wide eyes. She loved Alex's voice. It reminded her of someone.

Blake walked over while Alex was singing. He quietly sat down and listened to her angelic voice. He glanced over and saw tears brimming Skylers' eyes. He grabbed his sisters hand to comfort her but she didn't take her eyes off of Alex.

When she was done Skyler was still just looking at Alex. Without saying anything she stood up and ran out of the exit. "Sky wait!" Blake called out but she was long gone. He sat back down and let out a sigh. "Don't take that to seriously.." She bit his lip and looked at his food.

  • "Sky!" Alex called, standing up, she noticed some people staring at her, she sat down, her cheeks turning bright red, hiding her face in her hands, resting her elbows on the table.
    "Whoops..." She muttered

  • Izaya leaned against the wall with his hands in his pockets.

  • Blake got up and sat next to Alex putting one of his hands on her shoulder. "Don't worry about it. I thought it was beautiful." He smiled. "She ran away because...Well...." He took a deep breath. "You sounded really similar to someone Sky and I know. It probably just caught her off guard."

Skyler ran down the halls and turned around a corner. She didn't even look around before she leaned against a wall and slumped down. She held her head in her hands and shook her head.

  • Izaya was walking down the halls and stopped when he saw Skyler. Izaya walked over to her and looked down at her.

  • "Thanks but...Who?" Alex asked, her father... When he was too drunk to be angry always said that she was starting to sound more and more like her mother when she sang, which was true.

  • Alex chuckled. "Well Sky and I used to have an older sister. Her and Alex we're like white on rice. Sometimes it was like I didn't even exist." He laughed at his last sentence. "But she was in a car crash with our parents..." He trailed off. "She used to sing Skyler to sleep and when ever she was feeling low. I guess it just brought back those memories." He shrugged.

Skyler felt another presence and looked up from her hands. She wiped a tear from her eye and looked at the boy with confusion. "Can I help you with something?" She sniffled.

  • Izaya narrowed his eyes at Skyler. "Why are you crying?" he asked.

  • "That's terrible...." Alex had her own memory's behind those words, "I feel awful, I understand the feeling of loading somebody you are so terribly close to... Somebody you love..."
'And when they don't love you back...' Alex teared up at the thought. She still blamed herself for her mothers disappearance, that's what her father had told her everyday, that it was her fault, and she believed him... She agreed. A tear dripped down her cheek, it managed to escape. Alex blinked the rest back, and lowered her head, running her fingers over the surface of her guitar, sometimes she felt mad, mad that her mother left, left them behind with him, saying no reason, but she couldn't forget her, she couldn't smash the guitar, she couldn't hate her mother...
