OOC: Vio - Tom - Apprentice - Black, short furred, Violet eyes.

IC: As the moon sat high in the starry night sky, a young apprentice sat in the center of the camp, watching the majestic white glow. The young tom didn't have many friends, due to his constant day dreaming and mellow personality. He preferred to take a long walk and admire the forest than train or play-fight with his den-mates. He did enjoy his life, but it could get very lonely. So much as saying a word to his fellow apprentices would spark a shocked expression onto their faces. Did they think he was anti-social or something?

He did have trouble socializing with many cats at once, but he wasn't anti-social. He simply was used to keeping to himself. He let out a sigh. His only company at the moment was the moon and stars. He had no family in the clan, as he came to Thunderclan as a loner, abandoned by his parents. Yes, poor Vio had quite a rough past to look back on, and the present didn't seem to be improving much...

IC:// Rosepaw sat and peered off the edge of the small twoleg thing. It stretched over the water and created a clean path to walk on- without getting wet! It kept the lonely apprentice company, for her father, mother, best friend, and mentor had all died in one battle. It was the worst day of her life, that dreadful, bloody day about two moons ago.

Rosepaw stared at her reflection. "Why, hello!" she mewed playfully, then began to laugh. Soon she fell silent, and found herself crying. "Oh, Mother, Father, Diamondpaw, Duskclaw, why did you leave! You left me all by myself, alone, no friends, family, nothing!" She swiped at her reflection and ran off.

    OOC:

IC: As the moon continued it course around the earth, Vio's ear flicked. What was that? In the silence of the night, the young tom could have sworn he heard someone. Rising from his position directly beneath the night sky, he padded to the camp entrance, his senses telling him the sound had come from outside. He slipped out of the entrance, breathing in the majestic scents of the forest. He wondered about his parents sometimes... What were they like? Why did they leave him...? That question seemed to bring nothing but sorrow to his already weakened heart.

He stiffened, seeing another cat nearby. Who was that? Thinking instinctively, he crouched down low and silently scrambled behind a raspberry bush. He peered through the leaves, inspecting the she-cat closely. Was she Thunderclan? If not, What clan was she? He felt ashamed that he didn't even know his own clanmates, but for all he knew, she could be an intruder. He wasn't attentive enough to know... He blinked in surprise as he heard a twig snap behind him, and looked with an annoyed gaze as his hind-paw, which was placed upon it. So much for not being seen...

    [/fancypost]

  • Rosepaw growled at him violently. "Who are you?" she hissed rudely. The ThunderClan apprentice spent so much time at the bridge she knew not of Vio. "Who are you, I said!" she growled. Then she stopped, seeing that this tom would not harm her. "Oh, hey. I guess you... overheard me?"

    [fancyimage]http://i47.tinypic.com/20zy2x5.jpg[/fancyimage]

    OOC:

IC: Vio stepped from his hiding place, his eyes narrowed with irritation. "You expect me to tell you who I am when you're asking like that?" He murmured softly, not meeting the she-cat's gaze. With an annoyed sigh, he mumbled. "I'm Vio. And Yes, I did hear you." He meowed, his voice expressionless. He himself didn't know how he felt at the moment. If this is how his clanmates always acted, it was no wonder he had no friends.

    [/fancypost]

  • "I'm sorry, I just...." her voice trailed off, and she found herself staring back at her reflection. "I just was...... I don't know. My name's Rosepaw!" the now chipper apprentice said. She swished her ginger tail.

    [fancyimage]http://i47.tinypic.com/20zy2x5.jpg[/fancyimage]

    OOC:

IC: Vio blinked, still not ready to approach the she-cat. "...I... I know how that feels..." Probably because I feel like that most of the time. He thought to himself. He still didn't even know what he was doing out here-- He usually didn't react to noises at night. What was different about this time? Obviously something, because here he was, talking to a complete stranger.

    [/fancypost]

  • "Sometimes I come here at night to sing to the river, and my dead friends. Other times I come just because. Most often I come here to have someone to talk to. The river keeps me company," Rosepaw sighed. Her sad gaze traveled up to Vio's face. "I'm just guessing, but we're alike, aren't we?"

  • [fancypost bgcolor=#350376 bordercolor=#923ED2 borderwidth 200px]

    [fancyimage]http://i47.tinypic.com/20zy2x5.jpg[/fancyimage]

    OOC:

IC: Vio's gaze held a hidden look. "Not exactly... You come here to talk to your deceased friends, and use the river for company..." He murmured icily. "I can't-- And wouldn't, talk to my family. They abandoned me, just left me for dead, and I refuse to call them family..." He blinked when he realized how cold he sounded. Was complete isolation doing this to him, or was it something else?

"And so far I have no friends..." He continued quietly. "I prefer to talk to myself than anyone else, and I suppose the others think that's weird... Like me..."

    [/fancypost]

  • "But I don't think you're wierd. You're still like me, in a way. We're both lonely." She hopped off the bridge. "I think I do recognize you, after all. You're the new apprentice, aren't you?" she asked. She sat down and began licking her fur, waiting for an answer.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=#350376 bordercolor=#923ED2 borderwidth 200px]

    [fancyimage]http://i47.tinypic.com/20zy2x5.jpg[/fancyimage]

    OOC:

IC: Looking to the side with a blank expression, Vio shrugged. "I suppose that's true..." He blinked once at her next statement. "You recognize me? I wish I could say the same, but... I'm always out here, or in a tree, or hiding... It's just what I do..."

Vio was certainly surprised that this apprentice knew who he was. That was a first! And she also didn't think he was weird. Another first...

    [/fancypost]

  • "Ya, I do. I do pay attention to what's going on sometimes. Anyway, I would stay away from the other tom apprentice, Starlingpaw. He doesn't like apprentices -or warriors, for that matter- that come from.... the outside," she said, then vanished over the hedge, heading to camp.

    OOC:

IC: Vio tilted his head, about to speak, but was unable to utter a single sound before Rosepaw disappeared over the hedge. He blinked, still slightly confused. So there was a single cat in the clan who would dare speak with him and even suggested that they were alike? He tried to shrug off her warning-- He had never been attacked or anything by the other apprentices-- Why would that suddenly change? Still, he would be prepared.

He looked up at the moon, which moved a little since his encounter. Maybe I should head back... He thought to himself. After all, who knows what's going to happen tomorrow? With that, he slowly started walking back to camp, going extra slow so it wouldn't look like he was following the she-cat. After all, he wasn't. He was just going in the same direction.

    [/fancypost]

  • Rosepaw slipped into camp, trying not to make a single sound. She could hear snores coming from the Warriors' den, but not a sound came from the Apprentices' den. Oh no! That means.....

    -----

Starlingpaw walked through the forest, hearing sounds. He recognized the first voice as Rosepaw's, but the second was unfamiliar. It better not be that new apprentice. ,he thought to himself.

    [fancyimage]http://i47.tinypic.com/20zy2x5.jpg[/fancyimage]

    OOC:

IC: Completely unaware of the situation, Vio continued padding through the forest, his love for beauty causing him to slow considerably. He had noticed the moon reflecting off the river and just had to take a look. Then he noticed a few fire flies fluttering about, and had stopped to watch them. All in all, a very wonderful walk it was becoming.

Had forgotten-- Or didn't care, about the antics of tomorrow-- He could be dead tired for all he cared. He didn't have to be wide awake to observe nature, did he? And that was the only thing he was good at so far...

    [/fancypost]

  • Starlingpaw began to walk faster, noticing Vio's trail. He pounded thriought the forest, all worries forgotten. This was his fight! "Ruuuur!" he growled, as he sprang from the bushes at Vio.

    [fancyimage]http://i47.tinypic.com/20zy2x5.jpg[/fancyimage]

    OOC:

IC: Vio stiffened, hearing a loud growl behind him before yowling with surprise as the apprentice leaped on top of him. Letting his instincts take over, he unsheathed his claws and slashed at the newcomer, trying to get away. "What the heck is your problem!?" He hissed.

    [/fancypost]

  • Starlingpaw flipped backwards to dodge Vio's swipe. "Rosepaw is mine!" he yelled. "Stay away from her, before I make you!"

  • [fancypost bgcolor=#350376 bordercolor=#923ED2 borderwidth 200px][fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=#5950F8; borderwidth=0px; font-family: times new roman; font-style: italic; font-size:50px; margin-bottom: -12px; letter-spacing: 20px; text-align:center].«Vio».[/fancypost]

    OOC:

IC: Growling, Vio lashed his tail. "You don't even bother to observe anything, do you? I heard a noise and went to investigate, that's all! Besides, I don't even think she likes me very much, so just mind your own business and don't jump to conclusions like a mouse-brain!" He hissed, sheathing his claws.

    [/fancypost]

  • Starlingpaw smirked as he could smell his mentor, Shadowheart, coming. He slashed his own side, put some of his blood on Vio's paw, and fell to the ground, pretending to moan.
