    "C'mon, please? What are we gonna do today?" he mewed to his mentor. He wanted to train, not sit around camp all day doing nothing! "Please?" he mewed again. His tail was thumping loudly as he waited for a response. "C'mon, please, Silverflash?" he continued to beg his mentor.

    ooc: Not much is happening... Lovekit ran away and Treekit + an apprentice I forgot the name of (sorry) saved her. And Maplesong is training Icepaw. And Shadepaw is begging Silverflash (his mentor) to take him hunting or teach him some new battle moves. And yeah idk the rest

    Silverflash looked down at his apprentice, "okay," he sighed, "I'll show you some batle moves. Let's go." He started to pad out of camp.


    Icepaw listened for any prey nearby and she heard a squirrel looking for any nuts at the bottom of a tree. She sank into the hunters crouch and started to stalk it. Once close enough, she pounced, and she killed it neatly with a bite to the neck. She turned around, and faced her mentor with pride.

    ooc: Sorry if I got the whole prey thing wrong, it's been a while since I read the books :S Also, Comet, my last post was a recap, so u can just look at that :P not much has happened


    ic: "Great!" said Maplesong. "Now, remember," she meowed, "you want to be especially careful to be downwind of squirrels, as they have a good sense of smell. You need to be especially light on your toes with mice, because they will sense you that way. And do you know what you need to mask with birds?"


    Shadepaw bounded after Silverflash, eyes filled with excitement and joy. "Yay!" he squealed. "What are you gonna teach me first?" He was so excited that he failed to watch where he was placing his paws, and he stumbled over a tree root. "Ow!" he exclaimed. Jumping up and running to catch up with Silverflash, he looked up questioningly. "Is it gonna be really advanced?" he asked hopefully. Even he knew it wouldn't be, but it couldn't hurt to ask.


    Blazeheart ran to the clearing that he'd met with Shiningflower that day. He knew she wouldn't be here, but he still came here every day. He scented the wind, looking for prey. Finding a small mouse, he began to stalk it. When he was within striking range, he leapt out of the bushes, catching it completely unawares and killing it before it even knew what was happening. He buried it, continuing to hunt around the edges of the clearing, where prey was plentiful. even during leafbare, he could count on finding it here. It was very concealed, and had plenty of shelter, along with several hazel trees where squirrels could often be found.
