    Redwind glanced around the camp, her gaze uncertain, but not really concerned. When was the last time I sent out a border patrol? she asked herself.

    ic: Brindlefire padded up to Redwind. "Hey," she meowed to the clan deputy. "Are there any patrols for me to join?" she asked, "I just finished hunting." She flicked her ear. A mosquito kept buzzing around her. She pawed at it, looking rather funny in her failed attempt to shoe it away. She turned back to Redwind.


    (I think Shadepaw was gonna be trained by Silverflash, but I'm not sure whether it was hunting or fighting)


    Maplesong nodded at her apprentice approvingly. She's very skilled, she thought to herself. "Alright, now try that again, but be a bit quieter this time, to ensure the catch." she waved her tail at the nearby bushes, where a sparrow sat, obliviously pecking at the ground.

    Her eyes flooded with relief. "Sure, Brindlefire. Would you mind leading out the next hunting patrol?" she meowed, flexing her claws. "I'll come, if you want. And you can ask one or two of the others if they want to join us." Redwind suggested.

    ooc: that's cause the owner of the thread hasn't been on, laura... sorry, only she can accept it.


    ic: Brindlefire nodded, honored at the responsibility. "Okay," she meowed. Steeling a glance around camp, she saw her friend, Frostriver. She signaled with her tail. "Hey!" she said, "wanna come hunting with me and Redwind?" then, noticing that Silverflash wasn't with her, she asked, "is Silverflash out with his apprentice?" (I think that's where they were last...) As she waited for Frostriver's response, she swiveled her head around, looking for another cat to accompany them.

    [glow=red,2,300]RECAP:[/glow] Umm Idk the whole thread got really confusing when some kits started.... well, making it confusing. I'm assuming that Icepaw was learning hunting from Maplesong, and I remember that Silverflash was training Shadepaw but I have no idea whether he was learning hunting or fighting. Me and Comet just pretended we knew where our cats were, so we're going on a hunting patrol. And Brindlefire asked Frostriver to join them. Should I repost my posts that apply to u?

    Skycloud rolled her eyes, he'd do anything to get out of camp!

    Brindlefire nodded. "That's it then, I guess." She lead the way out of camp, her tail waving behind her. Before she got to the entrance, she glanced back, checking that they were following her.

    Brindlefire led the way to an oak tree that had lots of squirrels and voles. Scenting the air, she located a small vole, pecking at the ground. She flicked her ears, signaling for Redwind and Lizardpaw to circle around and cut it off. Slowly, she crept up on it, ears pricked. When she was close enough, she sprang out of her hiding spot, startling it straight towards Lizardpaw and Redwind.

    ooc: Umm it was a vole :P oh well xD


    ic: Brindlefire flicked her tail. "I can see why you're the deputy," she complimented. This time, she found a squirrel, scuffling among the leaves, searching for nuts. She waved her tail. She stopped Redwind before she could follow Lizardpaw, with a questioning look in her eyes, as if asking her if she thought Lizardpaw could handle it. Maybe we should give him a chance to learn. She crept forward behind Redwind, ready to intercept it if anything went wrong.
