    " why hello young kit" said cinderleaf as she padded up to the kit " how may I help?"

    Unikit's head jerked up, "Would you like me to get a medicine cat?" she asked, tail swishing.

    Dorothypaw padded over and knelt down to the kit's level
    "Okay, sweetie, could you sit down and tell me what happened while I go get what I need ?"
    The medicine cat apprentice asked gently and when to turn to grab the herbs.

    Heathekrit nodded, "I was playing keep away with Robinkit, I wasn't looking where I was going. and I tripped over a rock. and now my leg hurts really bad." she sighed wondering if she could lay down.

    "Okay, why don't you sit down and I'll check it ?"
    Dorothypaw soothed lightly, offering to guide her to a nest to sit in while she tended to her.

    Kupopaw, a new apprentice, rushed in out of breath. She say the kit and breathed a sigh of relief that the accident wasn't greater. Kupopaw pushed Heatherkit some poppy seeds. "Here you go!" she chirped. "These'll numb the pain and make you feel a little better. You better take some comfrey too... be right back!"

    She hands the comfrey to Dorothypaw. "Will you please give these to her? I'm 'sposed to check the elders for ticks." Kupopaw made a face. "If she won't take it I laid some moss in the corner over there," she mewed with flick of her tail before rushing out.

    Annoyance lingered in the stubborn medicine cat apprentice's eyes
    "Excuse me, but why are you touching the herbs and telling me what to do ?"
    Dorothypaw asked as smoothly as she could, flashing a questioning look
    "I appreciate the help, but I don't take orders unless its from my mentor. This is my job."

    Heatherkit followd leaning on her, she sat down in the nest, "Excusse me? theres a parietn in pain here." she mewed before lying down, her leg sticking out of the nest so the mCA could reach it.

    "Now i got my things but let me have a look" said Cinderleaf "Dorothypaw could you get some cob webs?"

    Spiritsong rushed into the medicine cats den a worried look on her golden cream face"What's wrong with my kit!?"She asked anxiously, just being a mother and all. She flicked her white tipped tail and frowned her Ice blue eyes glaring at Dorothypaw nervously.

The apprentice felt her ear flicker. "Do you want me to remove a few cats from the den?" The bodyguard apprentice meowed.

    Dorothypaw replied before she whent to grab some herbs herself to get situated in working with Heatherkit.

    Heatherkit sighed, she hated being fussed over, but the herbs were helping a little,
