He listened before offering, "That sounds like a good idea... I'll go first if you want."

[Center][font=georgia][color=black] Alex was going to trust Tyler, better yet be dependent on him. She put the gun by his side. "Just incase." She said with a small smile. She reached into her parka and pulled out her tent and a blanket she was lucky enough she stuff in there and set up a tent. After a few moments of looking and checking, Alex looked at Tyler. "Please let me know if you need anything, and, thank you." Alex murmured sincerely to her new partner, she'd like to consider him, and unzipped the tent, climbing inside with her blanket. She had no pillow, and realized her friend, with the largest parka carried her and Alex's pillows. She sighed and curled up, using the blanket as a pillow and shivering occasionally, just trying to go to sleep. But she was uncomfortable, and still felt a bit insecure, even though she was reminding herself Tyler was outside with the promise of keeping her safe. And she believed him, and she will believe him.
-
He watched the fire, leaning back against a tree in a not so comfortable position. He then took out his hand gun and set it down on his lap.
-
[Center][font=georgia][color=black] After a few, maybe about ten minutes of stirring, she finally went to sleep. Well she was hoping to somehow awake before sunup and take over so Tyler didn't have to be out there in the cold, well he did have a fire. She slept soundly, no dreams stirred her surprsingly and the blonde began to breath lightly.
-
He didn't move at all throughout the night. He was getting drowsier and drowsier with each passing moment.
-
[Center][font=georgia][color=black] Alex soon awoke. She didn't know what time it was, but she knew it was probably blank something in a morning, just not too late. She looked around, almost fogetting where she was, what happened, til the scmell of nature brought her back to reality. The Changing. Her brother. Tyler. Everything. Tyler was probably outside tired as hell, cold as hell and she felt bad. She smelt the air as she crawled out of the tent and looked at Tyler, biting her lip. "Ready to switch places?" She asked, feeling like she was being unfair as she grabbed her gun from her parka propped against the side of the tent. [B]"I don't mind."
-
He didn't answer, hoodie covering his face.
-
[Center][font=georgia][color=black] When he was sleeping, Alex could smell the very calming scent and with a thought, she realized he could be sleeping. No need in waking him, right? But she could still keep watch, that was a good idea. Turning, she put up the tent and stuffed it in her parka, then took her and her blanket and satt beside Tyler. It was awkward but she shuffled closer to lean against the tree as well, moving her parka close and leaning against the tree, in deep thought. She was more paranoid, checking the air like every three seconds.
-
He then lifted his head and looked at her, just realizing he fell asleep when he was supposed to be on watch.
-
[Center][font=georgia][color=black] When Alex felt Tyler awaken, she instantly inched away, feeling embarrassed, cheeks heating up. Even though she was just trying to get her fit in the tree, she was also close to Tyler, who she admitted made her feel more secure than being in a tent. She touched her hair, and looked at him, giving a small smile. "You're up."b she said, trying to sweep the embarrasment from her tone he could probably easyily read.
-
"I'm sorry I never meant to fell asleep," he apologized, rubbing his tired eyes before asking, "You're blushing... Why?"
-
[Center][font=georgia] Alex looked at him, her eyes widending and her cheeks turning a deeper red at his question. "Um..." Shit. He caught her in her embarrassed zone because she chickened out just simply being close to him. Their arms brushed, yes, but not purposefully. "What? Blushing?? Are you sure my cheeks aren't burning from the cold?" she asked pointedly, feeling stupid already. She looked down, touching her hair absentmindely.
-
"If your cold then why don't you have any goosebumps? You aren't shivering either..."
-
[Center][color=black][font=georgia] Alex looked at him, her eyes narrowed stubbornly. Since he probably knew that she was blushing, and what she was blushing about, she refused to tell without trying to let him know. "Well, I am sorta shivering, just that a have a coat luckily." she said gesturing and then after a moment, bit her bottom lip. "Is it really important to where you have to know?" she asked the boy, eyebrows raised.
-
He shook his head, "Nope... I already know why your blushing and I know it doesn't have anything to do with the cold."
-
[Center][font=georgia][color=black] Alex ducked her head and dug her nails into her palms, not even noticing until small blood welled up on two little flesh she broken on the palm. That gave her something to look at other than his face. "Let's not speak of it," she said firmly, yet awkwardly, looking up through the trees and at the nighttime sky and she saw that the moon was freaking blue. She swallowed, not trying to think much about that. "It doesn't matter anyway, Tyler, now does it?" Then added a little bitterly and forced, [b]"Feelings doesn't matter, survival does."
-
"No, it doesn't. Not now at least but it will eventually I assure you," he said, staring at her with a soft gaze.
-
[Center][font=georgia][color=black] Alex forced herself to inch closer to get her parka. As she did, she found her eyes locking with his, her green ones being sucked into his own and for a breif moment, they traveled to his lips, at the words that left his mouth then they were back to his eyes again. "I'm not so sure." she breathed, pulling her parka over her shoulder and looking at the fire, that long ble out from the cold. She settled herself by the pit to make a fire again, letting out a small sigh. "If you want you can rest a few hours before sun-up. I won't bother you til' then." she said quietly.
-
"I'm fine... I've already gotten all the sleep I need."
-
[Center][font=georgia][color=black] Alex looked over at him just after she blew on the fire, making a small fire light up then nodded. "Then you can come and join me, I guess." she said sort of awkwardly, sitting on the ground and running a hand through her messy blonde hair, then putting it into a bun with a hairtie she had. It was dirty, but so was her hair so why did it matter?
