This rp is simi-advanced, just don't put 1 sentence replies plz!

Harley was being led into a large building by her owner. She knew what was happening. A few weeks earlier her masters got a phone call, and they had asked for Harley. She was to join the RDTC to become a rescue dog, because apparently, they didn't have enough. She knew she would never see her owner again after these last few minutes. The government had done something with their home, and before she was taken in the car to come to this strange place, her masters were living in a small room, part of a very large building. Harley didn't understand it, but she thought they couldn't afford to keep her anymore. Her master was carrying a sack with a pillow and a chew toy in it. She couldn't live without her pillow. She was born with it, it was the first think she scented, saw, even tasted! As her owner led her into the door, the human at the desk looked up. "She'll make a good one." he said as he set his papers down and walked out from behind the desk. Her master knelt down and kissed her, then rose and scratched her head. "Goodbye..." he rose, and the humans exchanged items. Her master handed the man her leash, and the man handed her master a wad of green paper. That's what your trading me for? Green paper? Harley felt hurt inside. Her master -or, human- opened the door and left.
Harley was led into a new room with hard floors and dogs barking everywhere. Her new master opened a gate that led to a small cage. In there was a fluffy bed, and some dog bowls. There was also a doggie-door. But it looked like it was blocked by something. She couldn't escape. The man un-hooked her leash and Set her pillow and squeaky toy down on the floor, then he unlatched the collar around her neck. Harley let out a whimper as he began to take it away. He looked back at her. "You want this?" he asked her, almost sarcastically. Harley tried to make her eyes look as sorrowful as she could- she knew humans didn't understand her. The man Left the collar hanging on the door. Harley watched him go, and lay on her new bed, with the pillow tucked safely in-between her paws. What will become of me here? she thought.

  • From a cage next to Harley there was a yap. A small brown and white saluki pup with a blanket. The saluki rolled around, trying tto make herself feel at home. 'Aww,a blankets no close to a brother.' She quietly whimpered, dragging the blanket over to the bed and dropping it down. She huffed and looked sideways. German shepherd dog. Look back. No. This ones friendly. Wait,no. Not risking it.

Sol was brought into the area with a small chew rope,a worn-out pillow and a medallion. The trainer softly put Sol down and shooed her into a cage and threw her items onto her bed. 'Ooh..' Sol woofed, walking over to the fluffy soft bed. She trampled it down with her paws to make it biggerish and lay down to snooze.

  • Harley heard the yap. She opened one eye. She noticed some more dogs had come since she had slept. She rose her head. A pup. What could anyone possibly do with a pup? Their too clumsy and unfocused. She lifted her head. Although she was barely more than a pup herself, she liked to consider herself a higher rank. "Hiya!" she barked at the pup. "Where'd you come from?" I should've introduced myself. she scolded herself. She noticed the pup was very young, far too small to possibly be any use to the humans. Maybe I'm at a kennel. Maybe someone else will take me home... again... her ears drooped at the thought. But she tried her best to maintain the friendly grin towards the pup.

  • (Wy yu dun rp much on teh rich dogs thread? D:)
Primrose glanced at Harley blankly. She didn't fall for the smile and did a quick *Pinkie pie* smile and whipped away. 'Where'd I come from..? OUTTA NOWHERE. My owners just DUMPED me outside this piece of rotten meat and the people just took me in! Of course they dumped me with my blanket and..flower...neck..lace.' She barked, glancing at a small daisy necklace lying on a hook. 'The people think its useless but I was wearing it when I was dumped so they just took it along.'

  • (idk, I just pay more attention to da more popular threads)
Harley wasn't surprised. She was dumped as well, but she wasn't as young. This pup hardly knows how to talk. she sighed, a feeling of pity welled up inside her. Probably didn't even know her mother. thought Harley. Some humans came into the kennel area. They were talking. She heard her name. The younger one came up to her and opened the gate. Harley got up, wondering where they were taking her. They put a bright orange collar around her neck, it most likely had her name on it. The young man shut the cage and did the same to the other dogs. (Including Sol and Primrose) The other man walked over to Harley cage and stared at her. "She'll Probably do best as a Scout." he told the other man. "But she's very strong, and might be of some more use." the other called back. The first man shook his head. "We'll just have to see." he started "If she shows intelligence, or I willing to learn, she'll be a Mountain Dog. But we're running low on scouts. They die off too quickly." he finished, then left the room. A scout? thought Harley, Mountain Dog? She now knew why she was here. She was here to train. To help. To be a part of a greater good. She then knew she must work hard, build up her strength, prove herself worth of being more than a Scout.

  • (K,but I still wanna continue it. I'm gonna make my mansion thread for dogs latah.)
Primrose tilted her head at the collar.

Sol was one cage away from Harley, just with an empty cage next to her. 'Do you know what these are?' Sol yapped at Primrose and Harley. 'Mines..just a little tight..' She yapped, shaking her neck around. A man came over and adjusted it,letting Sol relax.

Primrose shrugged and turned back to Harley. 'They wanted to make me a..ruh-ruh? Ruh-bblle..rubble dawg.' She woofed.

  • Harley answered Sol first. "Its a collar, the humans use it to return you here, or know your name." she replied. These dogs must have been no where near humans before, if they don't even know what a collar is. "But don't worry, its good. It keeps you safe from dog catchers and pounds." Then, turning to Primrose, she corrected her. " A Rubble Dog. You know- a dog that rescues humans after a storms or bombing." Harley was pleased that she was the one giving the information. It made her seem smart, and used to this kind of life. Maybe she would like it here after all.
Suddenly, Harley whipped around as a loud click came from behind her. The doggie-door was unlocked! She looked up and down the rows. They were all unlocked! Quickly, she squeezed through the door, and emerged outside. It was noon, the sun was high in the sky. A large Fence surrounded a large area. At least she could be outside. Some humans were coming out. Pointing to dogs, then at humans. Pairing us up, apparently. She watched as the 'leader' of the men pointed to her, then to a young man. I hope he's nice. she hoped.

  • 'Wut breed are you?' Primrose yipped. 'I'm mostly saluki and I'm a tiny part related to whippet, which are fast dawgs. So I guess they identified me as a saluki which are also fast dogs and ruh-bble dogs I've kinda heard of them before, swiftly saving people from earthquakes, fires, storms like yu said and blah blah. And I'm not that swift YET I guess..*pouts*' She continued, bouncing around Harley.

  • "I'm a German Shepard." she replied blankly. Harley Continued watching the human at the side of the fence. One pointed to Primrose, a young _?. The humans began walking over to the dogs. Harley looked down at the jumpy pup. "You've been chosen! Quick, sit down!" she told Primrose. The people began walking towards their new dogs. Harley's human came and hooked a thick leash onto her collar. "We're gonna see how you do with Mountain Dog training." he said in a soothing voice. The boy gave you a friendly pat, and began walking away. Before Harley disappeared around the corner she barked-" See you guys later!"

  • Teddie walked in the kennel area as a human brought her along on a leash. She kept her head low and ears up alertly, seeing all the dogs around her and some barking. This was all new, she thought. What was going on? Why didnt her owners come in? Where did they go? Teddie felt a bit paniced, but she was comforted by her stuffed bear toy. She carried it in her mouth.

  • woman plz!
A young lady, looking around 22 bent down and stopped Primrose from jumping. 'Ok,little puppy lets get you to Rubble dog training. But you won't really be going out much, maybe have to wait 'till ya bit older.' She said cheerfully. She hooked on a long leash and walked her out.

  • The young man led Harley to into a cold room. She was a bit scared at first, because there were many noises. The boy must have noticed because h gave her a scratch behind the ears. After he and another human talked a while, he brought Harley over to a large flying machine. It had a fan-like propeller on top if it. And it made a choppy noise when the propeller spun. She began yelping when the man pulled her up into it. However much it swayed and turned, it never left the ground. Maybe it was a test?

  • Jaden was brought in by a human. He had just returned from training and he was really tired. His leg could hardly hold himself up as the human opened hi cage(the one next to Harley's).He padded in side and took a few laps of water before he sat in his bed,and let out a yawn. But then his nose detected a new scent,so he looked into the cage next to his and sniffed
    New dog
    He thought

  • After Harley got out of the spinny-thing, she was taken to a series of many other courses. She had climbed a soft, steep slope, but eventually made it to the top. Her muscles were burning as she completed her last session. By the time the humans let her go, in was night time. She felt as it she would collapse. She came in the came way she came out, the doggie door. It didn't lock behind her, Probably waiting for the other dogs to come in. she thought. She noticed a new dog, on the other side of her cage. "Hi, I'm Harley." She introduced herself. She also noticed a few other new dogs. She looked around. She hoped to dog next to her would be friendly, or else she would have a cranky neighbor.
OOC: I GTG soon so plz don't flood me!!! D:

  • Jaden looked up when he heard another voice"Hi Harley,Im Jaden, nice too meet you"he replied happily. He looked Harley over, she was well built, and had wonderul fur
She would make a good scout
    he thought to himself

  • Teddie layed down on her bed as the human brought her into the cage. She layed her head on her paws next to her stuffed bear toy. Teddie's ears flattened, my owners wont be coming back... She realized and thought of the young boy who had always played with her as a puppy. Now she was here, in some place that seemed like the dog pound.

Teddie whined. What did I do wrong?

  • never mind the gtg

IC:Jaden looked over to where the wine came from"Whats wrong?"he asked. He felt bad, some of the dogs here ad a life before they were sent to train, while himself on the other hand has no memory what so ever of his life before this place

  • Teddie looked up with her eyes hearing another dogs voice. She gazed over at Jaden "Where am I?" She asked, hoping this dog would know. At least knowing where she was would calm her a little bit.

Ooc: Going to dinner, I'll be on tomorrow :)
