How Did We Survive? (always open!)

An arrow shot from a tree dug into the trunk of another, inches from Coll's head. "Who are you?" Came a harsh voice, asking pretty much everyone.

Mei froze, lowering the belt.

A girl with a black overcoat, jeans, and dark brown hair came from the bushes. She approached them with bow loaded. "Who are you?" She said in a lower, grimmer voice.
Another girl, looking almost exactly the same as the other followed. She had assault darts in each hand. She scanned the group with blazing blue eyes. Erin and Mary's descendants.

The girl with the bow faced Shana. "Descendant of Shana?"

The girl with the bow relaxed, lowering her bow. She snapped out the arrow and slid it back in her quiver.
The girl with the darts answered, "We don't speak to non-descendants."

They both nodded. "We usually choose not to speak to others, descendants or not. But now..."

"Nothing." The one with the bow shook her head. "It just seems like there are a lot of descendants in one spot..."
The one with darts looks at the belt of knives.

They looked at each other. "Same as you." The one with darts said. The one with the bow finished. "Freedom."
