    Weaselkit sprung back to his paws. "I knew it! You and Midnightstar just want me never to be an apprentice, ever!" He stood up, lashing his tail, and hissed, "I'm going to go out there, and I'm going to kill that fox, all on my own. Then Midnightstar will have to make me an apprentice. And there's nothing you can do to stop me!"
    Weaselkit shot out of the medicine den and camp as fast as he could.

    midnightstar saw weaselkit runnig out of camp "weaselkit what are you doing" she yelled franticly and ran after him she bounded into the forest spying weaselkit she hissed at him and grabed him by the scruff "what are you doing"she visusly snareld in his face

    Weaselkit hissed with frustration. "I want to be an apprentice at the same time as Swiftkit and Littlekit, but..." The anger faded from his amber eyes and he looked at Greyflower miserably. "I'm sorry I shouted like that, and tried to run off. Even I know I can't kill a fox on my own, and I'm sorry. I'll be an apprentice when I'm better." He padded back to the medicine den, tail trailing behind him.

    Weaselkit curled up in his nest and fell asleep.

    Lightstep proudly led Swiftkit and Littlekit out of the nursery, both well groomed. Swiftkit bounced with excitement, and Littlekit followed quietly, his eyes full of glee. Weaselkit stretched and left the medicine den- he'd have the scar on his side for the rest of his life, but he had healed well.
