    Violetstar followed alongside with Sunsetmoon. She scented around, hoping no rogues would ambush out of nowhere. She thought to her kits, "I'll protect you in a way that I can. Can't promise you that much.." she thought.


    Shadeheart nodded to himself, she was right.


    Cherry looked over at Darkkit, "Where were you?" she asked curiously. The pinkish red she-cat was playing with Creamkit and chatting to her foster partner.

    Shadheart peered over his shoulder, glancing over at Berrysong. He knew the kit was right.


    Phoenixcloud nuzzled Darkkit, "Oh you silly little puffball." he purred.


    Cherry purred at Phoenixcloud, "You're such a softie."


    Violetstar smiled at her mate.

    Shadeheart padded over to Berrysong with a slight smile, "Hey.." he said, looking down at his paws. "I want to apologize." he meowed.


    Phoenixcloud smiled at his foster daughter and looked up at Cherry. "Man.. she's beautiful." he thought.

    Shadeheart sighed, "Its just hard to trust others at times you know? I had a hard time trusting Maroonpelt when he came in to be our med cat. I'm sorry if I hurt you, will you forgive me..?" he asked her.

    Berrysong's cream ears dropped a bit as he finished. She was hoping he would tell her that he felt for her the same way she felt for him. She turned away, not looking him in the eye, so he would not see her sadness, "Yes Shadeheart. I forgive you." she kept her voice calm and emotionless, though she was breaking inside


    Birchsky stayed beside his younger friend


    Darkkit sat with a huff, "She's not complaining."

    Berrysong purred and rubbed herself aginst him, nuzzling him joyfully.


    Birchsky looked over at his sister and his friend and grinned, looking over at the young medicine cat, "'bout time don't you think?" he asked, gesturing to the two

    Darkkit sensed his unease and flicked her ears. "Come on Creamkit! let's go say hi to Sunsetpaw!" she led the way to the new med cat, waving her tail at her foster father
