    Monsterkit emerged from the shelter of the bush, a leaf clinging to his pelt. He glanced around, then began trying to slink out of camp.

    Blackeagle caught him and put him down next to Snowfeather "sorry Monsterkit, not until your an apprentice." She easily jumped up into a near-by tree and sat on a trunk like branch.

    Monsterkit frowned, then turned and scrambled behind his mother, peering out from behind her.

    Blackeagle saw a hawk off in the distance and watched it as it got closer.

    Monsterkit snorted, having caught dust in his nose. He then turned and slunk off into the shadows of the nursery, his white and black pelt seeming to melt into the darkness as he layed down. He looked around, then closed his eyes, but didnt fall asleep.

    The hawk started diving and was getting a little too close to Moonkit so Blackeagle jumped from the tree and knocked it to the ground. She pinned it growling.

    Viperstar and Redstar seemed to come out of nowwhere, like shadows. They raced across the ground, side by side. They split up once they reached the bird, Redstar closer to Blackeagle, Viperstar opposite of Redstar. Redstar slashed at the hawk's sides, the bird's blood glinting on his claws.

    Blackeagle nudged the kits closer to the nursery and sat down with her tail curled around them.

    Moonkit was shaking slightly thinking about how close she just came to death.

    Figuring it was no use to struggle, Monsterkit just sat there, letting his mother snuggle him. He began thinking of ways to get out of the camp, anxiety causing him to flex his claws.

    Moonkit hid her face in Blackeagle's fur and pretty much dissapeared into her mother's fur.

    Starkit heard him snort and glared at him. Nightkit glared at Pinekit too knowing that he would be shaking too if he had gotten as close to death as Moonkit just did.

    Yeah, I Agree
    Monsterkit glared at Nightkit and Starkit, his midnight blue eyes cold but blazing at the same time. He stood next to Pinekit, his tail twitchng angrily. His eyes sharpened, and he could make out Moonkit's shape, even in Blackeagle's fur. Then, his eyes went back to normal-ish, and he couldnt see her aymore. He didnt know what had just happened, but he thought it was strange and he liked it.

    While Monsterkit continued to glare at Starkit and Nightkit, Ripplevenom, Viperstar, and Redstar met in Viperstar's den for a meeting. Shadestrike sat outside the den, guarding it.

    Blackeagle looked up "Nightkit, Starkit come over here with your sister, I have to go do something." They scampered over to Moonkit and curled up around her while Blackeagle walked out of the nursery and out of camp picking up speed as she went.
