    Alexa sighed. "so much emotion." she muttered. "this is so not my area." She glanced around, wishing she could get back to camp.

    she frowned,"but you can tell me anything!" she assured him. "im AMAZING at keeping secrets,and i won't judge you. or you can tell everyone im a slug bellied teller." she purred.

    Cal smiled. "if it wasn't for my uncle i wouldn't have the orange strips on my back. i would be black with white spots." Cal said. the tom looked at Moon. "i'm not gonna tell you, but you can guess and if you guess right, i'll tell you. promise."

    she wracked her brain,thinking as hard as she could,"sorry,i really don't know ANY clan cats." she said,bluching. "though my father was ravenpaw. have you ever heard of him? he was taken by firestar and greystripe to the twoleg place because tigerstar was going to kill him? that's why im black and my mother was grey.

    "no, Ravenpaw isn't my dad, but you did say his name." Cal said. he smiled. "all three of them were best friends, and my dad was one of the three. so that narrows it down BIG TIME!"

    "no!"she giggled "ravenpaw is MY dad! and is yours firestar?" she guessed

    Cal nodded his head. "The most famous and righteous leader in ask the Clans. Killed his half-brother and Tigerstar, after he had been killed by my uncle, Scourge. Dietary and Scourge were only half-brothers though. They had different moms."

    "but why would you be embarrassed by that?" Alexa chimed in. "Firestar was your dad?"

    She watched intently,her total focus and attention pointed towards what ca was saying.

    Cal looked at Alexa. "I don't like to say who my father was, because I'm a loner." The black tom stopped. "And being related to him, means that I'm pure Clan cat." A harsh wind whipped through the trees.

    "Well,it depends who your mother was,plus,fire star started off as a kittypet. So.....not completely." She said,trying to help.

    IC~ "Some she-cat from a different Clan." Cal stopped at tipped his head to one side. "I think that she was from RiverClan or ShadowClan, but I'm not sure." He said. Cal looked at Moon.

    Alexa was still puzzled. "so...how come your not a clan cat?" although the practical side of her knew she needed to get back to camp, after all, Phantom was probably awake by now. But she couldn't help but be interested in this cat's strange story.

    "You mean a loner?" Cal asked. He sighed and looked at the ground. "My mother was excited from the Clan, shortly after Firestar died and three moons after I was born." The black tom duh his class into the ground. "I'll tell the rest of my story later." Cal quickly climbed a tree. "I would like to meet my......... cusion."

    "Never mind. Can we go to your camp?" The black tom asked. His white spots looked like stars on the darkest shadows of the trees.

    "ok..." Alexa replied warily. Cal had seemed so open just a moment ago. "sure. let's go." she began to lead the way back to camp. "you can meet my kit, Phantom."

    Cal smiled. "When ever I was tree jumping, I would always drop down and walk past mothers and their kits, because I have a soft spot for kits. Always have and always will." The tom said. He blushed, but neither one of the she-cats were able to see it, due to how high up he was.

    she smiled,"sweet." she mewed softly. she seemed to not even notice his sudden change in subject.
