    Moon walked on the ground,glancing up at cal sometimes,each time her smile owing wider.

    Cal glanced down at Moon and noticed her smile. he loved the freedom of tree jumping. Cal jumped faster and went a little higher so Moon would only be able to see the white markings on his mostly black body. he smiled.

    Cal smiled, and stopped four trees ahead of Moon. he was completely concealed by the shadows. as Moon got closer he got ready to drop down. this is what most of the other loners feared when they heard rustling up in the trees, that they were going to be attacked by the Shadow Jumper.

    she listened,realizing he had stopped ahead of her. she smirked,but acted like she was oblivious to his plans.

    Cal narrowed his eyes, and continued to tree jump. she's too smart...... i like her.. he thought. he stopped abruptly and almost feel out of the tree that he was in.

    she noticed he nearly fell,"cal,you ok?" she asked,staring up into the tree. she was irritated that she couldn't see him.

    "yeah. don't try to come up here, you would have a really hard time seeing." Cal said. he sunk his claws deep into the tree branch. he shook out his fur and sighed.

    moon nodded,"well,be careful. if you fall,i won't be able to save your butt!" she joked.

    Call smiled. "They don't call Shadow Jumper for nothing, though." He said. S***! What an I saying!?!? He put his forehead onto the branch. So stupid!!

    Alexa cocked her head. "who's Shadow Jumper?!?" she shook her head. "I've never heard of him."

    she looked back at Alexa,"I've only heard stories,from my mother back at two-leg place. legend has it,that the shadow jumper is like a shadow,stalking you from above-his black pelt blending in with the trees so perfectly......you won't see it coming until t's to late...." she explained,her heart pounding.

    Cal dropped from the tree. "That's me." The mostly black tom said. He hung his head. "But I don't want to be the Shadow Jumper any more, Moon. I've been trying to put that behind me, start a new life." He truthfully. He looked down, down hurt gleaming in his dark aqua eyes.

    moon smiled,"i understand,believe me. i fought our gang leader,and was accepted into her gang. i remember saying that i wouldn't quit unless she killed me first. im alive aren't i?" she said,purring. "i put my life as a kittypet behind me. i know you will to." she added.

    Cal sighed. "I wasn't always The Shadow Jumper." He said. He wrapped his tail around his paws. He sighed.

    Cal looked at Moon with sad eyes. "I was born and raised a kittypet." He said. The casino laid down and put his head on his paws. "But I'm related to a Clan cat."

    Cal smiled. "You don't know who it is though." He looked at Moon. "And I'm not telling."
