The sound of rain had stopped long before the sun had began to peak above the horizon leaving the forest wet and damp. Dew drops clung to vegetation of the forest as the sun rose higher. The rain had brought some warmth along with it providing for a beautiful day.
A black head poked out of a moss den. It was Angita. She had finally found a nice place to rest for sometime without having to worry about food, or the weather. Her intent was to stay in her new den for as long as she could before she moved again. She needed a retreat from the craziness of what had happened to her in the past months.

[ sorry darling but it's going to get a heck of a lot worse.]
Seth walked down the path of what belonged to what he was sort of regretting of traveling in the middle of the storm. With his pelt clinging against his body, the sliver tabby flicked his tail. He had found shelter, and shook himself like a dog in order of getting every last drop of water off of him. His pelt puffed up like a fuzz ball.
In his disgust he couldn't find a single she-cat in a scent distance. Cursing the fate, he began to groom himself making sure every last inch of fur was back into it's slick and groomed state. " Worthless peice of crap.." he murmured into his grooming. He was talking about his necklace that hung by his neck without futher warning. Now resting his fluffy tail, he was only fourteen moons. Although he was supposed to have r.ped several she-cats by now.
-
Angita climbed out of her make-shift den as she did dew drops showered her. She shook herself as the dew fell onto her black velvet fur. As she lifted her nose to the air her stomach began to grumble. She hadn't eaten sense the day before.
[By the way sorry for taking so long.]
-
To bad he had no powers for a gift of scenting out a she-cat in this rain would be a prayer begin answered. Seth was on his paws once more with his stomach growling at him demanding to be fed. He couldn't taste anything but rain, and the sweetness of the earth.
-
Angita continued along the path she had chosen until she came across a fresh scent of a mouse. She followed it the scent be careful my not to make a sound. She only stopped when she found the creature nibbling on a nut. She got down and crawl a tiny bit closer before leaping on the mouse and killing it with a quick bite. She settled down and began to eat.
The sun was crawling higher in the sky. It was half way to midday -
Seth flicked his tail has he appeared from his den, now that the rain had turned into a drizzle making it a little easier to find lunch. He found a finch minding it's own side of the story. Crouching down making sure his scent was masked by the scent of overpowering rain and mud. He sprang capturing the flapping bird in his claws. He tossed the bird into the air before slamming it down with his paw adding his signature killing move. He could feel the mid-afternoon sun on his pelt, it warmed it up a little. Not to much or he would have dove into a pool of water just to keep cool.
The finch looked tasty, and he licked his lips deciding to stretch his hunger pains a little farther. The sliver tabby looked around with his green eyes narrowed trying to find another scent which he was lucky. He sniffed, A semi in the process of begin pregant she-cat! I don't think she knows that she's expecting some bloke's kits. he thought picking up his bird trying hard of not swallowing it in one huge glup. He decide to seek the she-cat trying to appear like some lost sheep.
The sun had crawled up to the center now, making it about late afternoon. Now it was roasting, and this tom was not in the mood of finding and starving himself for this she-cat! He chomped away at his bird. Wheezing on some of the feathers, and licked his lips savoring it in every bite. That tasted good! he thought when he found Angita chomping away at a mouse. His eyes racked her body. Why did he have this feeling she was a bad omen?
-
After finishing her mouse Angita got to her paws, but as she was turning back she suddenly felt as if there were eyes watching her. She glanced over her shoulder. She saw no one. It must have been her imagination. Angita turned once again and started back the way she came. Only this time she took a right which lead her to a small pool of water. She bent down and began to slurp noisily.
-
Seth looked up and seemed to wanted to avoid her look. He soundlessly followed her, now hearing her slurp loudly into the clear afternoon day. Brought some amusement to him.
-
Again angita felt the eyes boring though her skin. She glanced around once again. Someone was watching her. She was starting to get paranoid. She'd learned over the years that being watched only lead to bad things. She had to get this thing off her tracks. She stopped drinking and bolted through the shrubbery on the other side of the pool.
-
" I am still going to follow you even if you run to the end of the earth!"mewed Seth curling his tail against his paws. He had a very kit appearance. The sliver tabby remained sited deciding if he should attack her or not. Now at the behavior that she was throwing into the air. He most certainly did want to but he didn't. He had to or his line would cease to exist. His father was a jerk at most, and he slaughtered his mother and his siblings in the process. The bitter hate burned in his pelt has he kept out of eyes, and voice. But his soul screamed like a demon.
-
Angita now knew for sure she was being followed. She had heard the cat yelled at her as she ran. This disturbed her greatly. She continued to pick up speed making sharp turns and diving through undergrowth. She glanced over her shoulder every now and then hoping to see if she lost the tom or not but trees and over greenery blocked her sight so she charged on anyway.
[Do you have any presences for a naming theme?]
-
[what do you mean by that? I rather have two kitten reversed.]
Seth remained where he was. -
Soon Angita slowed to a stop. She listened for a moment. She didn't hear any thing that would indicate someone following. She glanced about. Still nothing. She sighed, and went back to hunting.
[You know like a naming theme like flowers, stars, machines, stuff like that. so how many kits 6? 8?]
-
[ Ah it doesn't matter. I really like Latin names or Greek ones those are really interesting. 8 kits would a huge mess but i am up for it.]
Seth flicked his tail, and he was soon minding his own tail for the moment. He caught a hare by surprise. His earsplitting screech rang into the air, it turned out that hare was a tough brute. The silver tabby twirled and fought with that hare like crazy.
-
[ok, then I'll get to making the adopting thread. we can choose between 8 and 6 once we see how many join.]
Angita pricked her ears again. She was annoyed now. This stalker cat was scaring all the prey off. How was she suppose to find a decent meal if t all ran away because was some stupid cat. She stormed angrily off toward the sound grumbling under her breath. As soon as she broke through a layer of undergrowth something zipped past her. Hare by the looks of it.
She flattened her ears to her skull. It had probably just escaped a fool hunter. She let out a humph and started after the hare. She was letting a good hare get away! She could have caught the hare if it weren't for the sliver tabby that speed past almost slamming right in her. "Hey! Watch were your going twat!" She yowled after the cat. -
" I beg your pardon! Who are you calling at twat?!"growled Seth flicking his tail. He had a good look at her now, he snickered. " Bet you don't even know that you are almost expecting!"he said backing away from her flashing claws just in case. He knew how hot-tempered those she-cats can be. His mother had those type of mood swings, he kept a whimper back with grief.
-
Angita gave the tom an confused glare. "Expecting? Expecting what? I was expecting a nice meal until you showed up and scared everything off" She growled. She really didn't want to deal with snouty toms at the moment. She was about ready to turn on her heels and start searching for a new hunting ground. This one was becoming to crowded then she liked.
-
" What i mean by expecting... is kits!" he snarled furiously at her. Now he was in for it, he ran about a mile before she could even think about skinning him alive.
-
Angita stomped frustratedly. 'Kits?! Kits?! how dare he even suggest such a thing!' Angita stopped in mid thought 'That tom from the elite!' She was expecting kits. Her jaw dropped. that could be possible. She was frozen. She couldn't comprehend it.
-
Seth looked at her fearfully, he took a ragged breath. The sliver tabby glared at her calmly, but he was shaking. Something in him screamed and he knew he was going to die at this day. He watched her waiting her to retort or say something back to denies it completely. He sighed, and sat down. " So i was right?" he said surprised.
