apocalypse where the only survivors have special abilities

    Story: When the clock turned to the New Year in 2013 a blue wave made of light spread across the world. This light killed killed everyone except for a few hundred. These survivors suddenly realized they had extraordinary abilities and as time passed the learned to control them and began re-populating. Some became nomads and others settled down and created communities. It is now 2112 and there is no true Law. Your purpose is only to survive the bandits and other evils waiting to kill you.

    Romulus, after a few hours of walking decided to stop and drink some water. He looked at the wasteland that had become los angeles

    Callandra went to her kill, picking up the dead squirrel and removing the arrow from its skull. She placed the arrow back with the others and placed her bow on her back again, crouching down and taking off her backpack to get water and materials for a fire.

    IC: Romulus tracked some female boot prints and found a young woman. He watched her for a bit, then sensing no immediate threat, approached her. "Hello?" he asked her.

    A smile formed on his face " Don't feel threatened, if I had wanted to kill you would have already done so and besides that's no way to respond to someone just saying hello" Romulus said, the smile never wavering.

    Callandra narrowed her eyes at him,"Well, you could've tried at least, but succeeding wouldn't be that easy." she reluctantly lowered her bow and loosened her hold on the arrow, letting it relax and lean on the hilt of the bow, ready to take aim again if needed,"So, what is it that you want?" she asked cautiously.

    "Companionship would be nice, since you don't see many other people who aren't just trying to rob you. I like your attitude but don't be so cocky" Romulus said as he sat down on a near bye stone.

    She lifted a brow,"Your the cocky one, saying you could've already killed me if you wanted to." She said as s she slowly cooked the squirrel meat,"I suppose I shoukd ask you, would you like something to eat?"

    "Romulus and yours? I can trust you not to go digging through my bag if I leave it here right? I wont be long" he replied with a smile.

    "Callandra. I couldn't care less about what your carrying in there." She responded, not looking at him and picking at the pieces of meat before eating it.
