  • Brackenkit laid quietly in the grass, very afraid and lonely. He saw a beetle and forgot about his loneliness. He squeaked and tried to pounce on it. He started to shiver, even if his pelt is very fluffy.

The post was edited 1 time, last by Yellowstar (R.I.P Bhear) ().

  • Bounding swiftly through the frosted grass a ginger-brown somali easily jumped over a broken log that had recently had fallen down to the change of the sudden weather. It wasn't snowing hard then he thought it would be, but he just hopes that it stays like. The dark lining from his head to his thick coat to his tail swayed as a cold gust of wind hit him at the face. He ignored the breeze like it was nothing.
Halting near a dark-colored oak tree, Blazeheart, a senior warrior of SunClan, remained near the oak and lifted his nose in the air. There was no scent of any prey close by. Probably hiding in their underground dens. But...a new scent reach his nose just as another gust of wind smacked him in the face.

  • Brackenkit sneezed a tiny sneeze. He didn't know how to regconise any smell yet, but he smelt something. Brackenkit tried to keep himself warm, he breathed his warm breath on his paws to keep them from freezing.

  • Narrowing his eyes from the wind, Blazeheart caught a faint trace of fur close by. It wasn't a rabbit's coat, but.....a cat's! Shaking off the cold snow off from his ginger coating he made his way towards the bundle of fur without a problem.
Doing soft heay breathes, small clouds escaped his mouth and into the chilly air. He stared down at the kit with worried eyes. "Are you all right, little one?" Blazeheart asked, lowering his head to seeing what the kit looked like. A brown-striped kit with dark or light amber eyes. A rare sight for a SunClan warrior to see.

  • Brackenkit was surprised by a sudden approach of a cat. But he nodded :-X .
"I'm f-f-fine" he squeaked in a small voice. "im just lost."

  • Blazeheart eyed the kit, "You don't look fine in any way. But, if your alone out here then maybe you can follow me to a warmer spot. We can rest somewhere while the snowstorm comes past us, all right." He could feel more cold air drafts from behind, sensing that a storm was getting closer each time the wind hits him. Plus the clouds above him were getting dark and spooky looking, or threatening.

  • Brackenkit was afraid to say yes, but he hated the cold so he nodded. "Thank you" he managed to say.

  • Stretching out his neck Blazeheart easily took the kit by the scruff and began to sprint away from the clearing. He jumped over the broken tree and was heading toward a nearby shelter. There wasn't a whole of cover in SunClan. But somehow he'll find a way out from the weather, before it strikes a killing blow at him and the kit. He was mostly worried of the kit rather then himself. He was probably 4 moons old and has no clue where his parents are and was left here to survive in the Leaf-bare. What cruel parents!

  • Brackenkit squealed softly each time a chilly gust of wind hit him.He hoped they are going to where they should be soon!

  • Not taking anymore chances of jumping over things, Blazeheart spotted a nearby stump with a wide open entance. It looked like an animal with thick claws had made into a little den for themself. It was neat looking and had moss in it already. Plus the scent of the animal, probably a badger, was very faint. Must have moved along do to the changing season and headed north from where he was stand. Ducking his head, he entered the den and laid himslef and the kit on the moss.

  • Brackenkit was so reliefed to be on the ground again. He snuggled in the moss. "Thank you" he meowed in a much happier voice.

  • "No problem, kit." Blazeheart meowed softly and stared out. It was a blazzard. It stormed wildly through the air and land hard on the ground, piling up more anmore snow each time. He was relieved to be here instead of out there.

  • Brackenkit stayed there, wishing he had littermates to play with. He suddenly asked Blazeheart. "Do you have other kits?" Brackenkit asked quite freely. Brackenkit wanted some playmates long ago. Brackenkit looked down at his paws.

  • The somali glanced down and nodded his head, "Yep, I have four kits that are apprentices and one that I adopted. Her name is Flowerkit. She would be happy to see another kit like youself there, she's desperate to have someone to play with her." Blazeheart purred.

  • ;) (ooc: One of my kits are called that :) LOL )

Brackenkit's ears perked up as Blazeheart talked about them. "I really want to see her" said Brackenkit very eager. He wouldn't mind getting cold if he could see Flowerkit. Brackenkit hoped that Blazeheart wont think he's pushy.

  • Blazeheart nodded. "So, you want to have siblings?" He asked with curiosity. This kit was probably abandoned by his parents and was left in the cold Leaf-bare. Whoever they are...they won't have their kit back unil he got some reason why they left him.

  • Brackenkit nodded, just a little sadly. "I dont know where i am, suddenly I was plonked down in the snow without anyone with me"

  • Blazeheart lowered his ears and frowned. "I'm sorry to hear that. Your quite young to be left alone in this cruel place." Blazeheart meowed with sympathy.

  • brackenkit nodded. "Im better when you found me" Brackenkit meowed, trying to sound friendly.
