Iriskit started to suckle.

Lhgtpaw went and added the fish he caught to the fresh kill pile.

Crystalwish flattened the fur on the kit's head and smiled.

"thank you miss" Iriskit curled up in a ball next to her.

"Can you take some food for the elders and queens, Lightpaw?" Hailbreeze asked

Lightpaw nodded, taking fish first to the elders, then giving another load to the queens.

"Okay, you're finished for the day. (That rhymed!)" Hailbreeze said "You can rest now."

"Thank you." Lightpaw muttered, then picked up and mouse and went to lay outside the apprentices den to eat it.
