bunnypaw glared defiantly at stacysong.''you can not tell me what to do.''
she turned gently to asterleaf.''sorry, asterleaf.''
ignoring stacysong's penetrating glare she found some honey, dried oak leaf, horsetail and marigold. she mixed it into an efficient poultice and crept into the store. she appeared with cobweb, which she used to hold the wound in place.

"Listen ya little bitch!" Mercurypoisoning hissed. He was here because he'd heard an argument going on and had come to investigate. Now he faced Bunnypaw with a curled lip and unsheathed claws. "Ya don't fucking tell Stacysong what t' do, and ya sure as hell ain't gonna be our medicine cat." He stalked up to her until he was right in her face. "I'll kill ya without thinkin' twice about it. Now, ya got two fuckin' options. Ya can come with me an' Stacysong an' explain yerself t' Rangerstar, OR ya can stay here an' fight me."
His breath rolled out of his mouth in a most foul way as he said that. The ex-BloodClanner really would kill her without a second thought. "Now. Take yer fucking pick," he snarled, and aimed a heavy blow to her backside.

[fancypost borderwidth=0]"Mercurypoisoning," Baroquedance mewed in a stern tone. "It would be best to talk, not to harm," the bengal curtly mewed while conveying a glare to the ex-Bloodclanner. Auric flecked orbs then searched for Bunnypaw.
"I apologize for your losses, but you cannot take out your anger at any feline, especially one like so of Stacysong. Riverclan is not in need of another medicine cat apprentice at the moment, or for a while that is." His brows furrowed deeper, lean muscles under his cropped fur tensing. "Unless you want to be banned from here, I suggest you leave. When the time comes Stacysong will choose another apprentice. Until then you wait, just like your ancestors have for generations. Either that or you can speak to Rangerstar. Right, Stacysong?" The bengal turned his head for a brief second, trying to catch the soft approval that he so desperately adorned in those blue eyes of hers.

[fancypost borderwidth=0; width=200]Hearing the commotion, the lithe tabby padded in, having just napped right outside the den. Brow furrowing, her striped tail swung from side to side as she caught what the bengal tom had said. The apprentice frowned, aquamarine eyes narrowing. Although she was normally gentle and sweet, it had been a tiring day for everybody, and the fact that her esteemed friend was being treated in such a way made her nape fur bristle.
Directing her blazing blue optics at the intruding apprentice, Skylapaw directed in a careful, measured tone, "Look. Though we do appreciate the offer of help, we have more than enough here. Riparianskies and Stacysong are both immensely well-trained and, if I may say so myself, my training is proceeding very nicely. When the time comes to pick a new medicine cat apprentice, then we shall. But until then, kindly take your business elsewhere, and let the injured cats come to us." Almost as an afterthought, she paused and continued, "I don't like the fact that you're taking our herbs either, by the way."

not atall afraid of mercypoisoning, bunnypaw looked defiantly into his eyes, her nose in the air just to show him she didn't care atall about what he said.
''i will take orders only from skylapaw. she is more likely to be my mentor if you change your minds and need help. i will not hesitate to help my clanmates, whether you like it or not and i will shout it to starclan and rangerstar if i must.''
with that she turned around and left.
shypaw, a short brown tom with no whiskers, skipped over,''hey, wanna go hunting?''
knowing what was coming from the look on his beaming face, bunnypaw flicked her tail in refusal.''i know you only want to go hunting so when we are alone you can ask me to be your mate. but medicine cats can't have mates.'' -
"Bitch, you are not a medicine cat!" Mercurypoisoning snapped. "You will take orders from all of us because we are ALL higher in rank than you! you're cruisin' for a bruisin' ya little wench!" He flexed his claws. "Now, you're comin' t' see Rangerstar if I have t' drag ya by th' scruff like th' kit ya are!"
Seriously, if she was a BloodClanner she would have been killed for her insolence. It was the ProClan softness that made kits grow up to be such insolent little shits. "Ya'll need t' introduce some real punishment 'round here! Can't have cats like this thinkin' they can do what they want!"
-
ooc: lol
ic:
bunnypaw grinned,''fuck you.'' she growled,''you think your so great because you can squash a flea. well, message for mr. shitty over here, I killed a pack of dogs single pawed! I watched my parents die before my eyes and I fought on so I will not kneel down to a fox-shit like you!'' -
ooc: haha, he really doesn't know how to handle anything without violence xD
_____Mercurypoisoning's eyelid started twitching. "Can I kill her now? Or, like, just maul her or somethin'?" it was taking a LOT for him to now attack Bunnypaw at the moment. He did value his life in RiverClan after all and didn't want to be exiled, he just found it so irritating sometimes.
-
''if you are planning on 'mauling' me, then you'll have to catch me first, fox-dung!'' she spat, and run through camp into the leader's den.
-
Ooh, look, miss stupid-head was running straight into the leader's den - exactly where they wanted her to be in the first place. Stacysong darted forward, after Bunnypaw, shuffling forward with a swift, mostly three-legged trot which she had learned over the last few months. She could go quite fast when pressed. Her goal: block the entrance of the leader's den and keep Bunnypaw inside so that Stacysong could explain all the ways that Bunnypaw was being a total insubordinate idiot. And so that (preferably) Mercurypoisoning could do a little mauling.
Okay, so maybe that wasn't completely true. After all, Stacysong was a medicine cat. She didn't particularly enjoy carnage. But she wasn't a pacifistic wimp, either. She had killed a trespassing tom who had desired to get a little too friendly with her. Dawnstar - before she was leader, of course - had helped her dispose of the body.
In any event, Stacysong was rooting for exile at minimum. She absolutely refused to have any cats like Bunnypaw anywhere near her den. Within a hundred miles was really too close.
[ooc: thanks y'all for coming and helping Stacy. ^^]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Rangerstar heard approaching paws thumping against the ground and soon the owner of those paws appear: an apprentice. Alarmed, he shot up from his nest where he'd previously been laying.
"Woah, woah. What's the rush?" he questioned as he bounded over to the entrance way.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0; width=200]Ears flattening, the silver tabby couldn't help flinching. 'Be that insolent apprentice's mentor? No way! No chance at all. Not to mention I've barely finished my training!' Seeing as the rude she-cat had went to the leader's den of her own volition, Skylapaw bit back a snarl and followed, brushing against Stacysong once for ... comfort? Reassurance?
Spotting Rangerstar, the medicine cat apprentice breathed a sigh of relief and meowed, her eyes dipped and voice suddenly calm and soft, "Hello, Rangerstar. This she-cat was causing some trouble in the den - although she started off simply by offering us herbs, soon enough she insisted on becoming the future medicine cat apprentice," (and here her fur stood up. Bunnypaw surely could not be much younger than she, and in a way the apprentice was contesting her rank) "... and then she grew, well, rather impertinent. She even dared to use some of our stock, without permission, to treat an injured cat! And when asked to leave she refused, and started verbally abusing Mercurypoisoning as well as implying disrespect with nearly everything she did."
Taking in a deep breath, the lithe tabby wondered if she should feel remorseful for her somewhat harsh words. But hadn't she just been honest?
-
Bunnypaw flinched at skylapaw. I swore never to fight again, so if i can't be a medicine cat what other job is there?
She didn't even notice she'd said it aloud, and looked a little guiltily at Rangerstar. ''I'm sorry, Rangerstar,'' she dipped her head respectfully,''its just...''
she trailed off and looked at at Mercypoisoning, Stacysong and Skylapaw.ooc: please look on page two because ireally cant be bothered to explain again. :(
-
"Well, we seem to have found the one and only cat who this impertinent wretch won't mouth off to," Stacysong grumbled, silver ears flattened with distaste. "Long story short: she yelled at me in my own den for refusing to make her my apprentice. I was nice at first, I really was, but I can only stand so much blatant disrespect to my face."
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px]"Thank you for taking responsibility of your wrongdoings, Bunnypaw," Rangerstar said, then gave a nod to the medicine cat and her apprentice to signal his understanding of their words. "Nevertheless, you have to respect Stacysong, Skylapaw, and their den. Why did you think it was okay to be disruptive?" he asked the apprentice.
-
She shuffled her paws,"because they are pitiless. Medicine cats need pity." She flicked her tail to the den entrance, where an injured warrior was awaiting help,"may I?" Bunnypaw asked, diongbher head curtly to stacysong,"I eiah to prove myself."
-
Merc caught up, looking extremely angry. He stopped just outside of Rangerstar's den and huffed. "Shut th' f*** up," he growled to the apprentice. "Ya threw a fit because ya didn't get what ya wanted. Just because ya think ya have a bad life don't mean yer entitled t' just take what ya want, and it's a f***** filthy move t' try to guilt Stacysong into makin' ya her apprentices 'cause ya think ya deserve pity!"
"An' pity, ya really want people t' pity ya? How is it possible to aim high with low standards!? Ya get a good position in th' Clan by workin' hard t' improve yerself and makin' damn sure everyone looks up ta ya, not by tryin' t' milk pity outta people. Same kinda ratty s*** as sleepin' yer way t' the top like a w****." He regarded Bunnypaw with cold disgust.
-
"I won't pity people who whine and cry about their situation in life. Or people who yell at me. Hell, I won't pity anyone who doesn't deserve it. You can walk, talk, see, speak, hear, and think. That's more than some people." Stacysong's ears were still flat. "Just because I'm not going to make you my apprentice just because your entire family died doesn't mean that I don't have pity for those who deserve it. If I took every apprentice or kit who had a sob story to tell me, I'd have more apprentices than StarClan has members." She glanced over at the injured warrior. "Wait just one moment, please, while I finish conferring with the leader." Her tone had gone from hard and annoyed to calm and patient, but it switched back as she rounded on Bunnypaw. "Abso-freaking-lutely not. You may not touch anything from my den ever again. Leave the healing to me." What the hell had Bunnypaw expected her to reply? "Sure, fine, feel free, go ahead and disregard all the things I've told you like 'stay out of my den' and 'don't touch my herbs' and 'get the f*** out of my face' and go heal that warrior so that you can prove yourself and I can make you my apprentice, poor dear apprentice who's had such a hard time in life." No freaking way.
Honestly, Rangerstar had so much more patience than Stacysong. This was why he was leader, and not Stacysong. Well, not like Stacy ever would be leader, but anyway.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0; width=200]A little taken aback at the clear contrast between the leader and the other two cats, Skylapaw then decided that Rangerstar had to act calm. After all, any outbursts from him would be taken as a sign that he wasn't fit to lead. Cocking her head, she refrained from speaking, for Mercurypoisoning and Stacysong had both said enough. She couldn't help taking note of the minor offence though - pitiless? She had the nerve to declare them both pitiless? After everything the two had been through? Not to mention, who exactly decreed that medicine cats needed to be sympathetic to absolutely everybody?
-
Bunnypaw ignored them and led the injured warrior into the forest,''i will find my won herbs!'' she flicked her tail rebelliously and the warrior, confused, stood where she was.
It was braveheart, a tiny apprentice-sized senior warrior with big dark eyelashes and clear blue eyes. her main pelt colour was russet, but she had beige rings around her eyes and paws, along with patches on her tail and ears.
Bunnypaw trotted into camp proudly and dropped her bundle of horsetail and marigold. she was a secret vegetarian and had a great knowledge for plants; she had also brought back catttail, pignut and thistle roots, which would make a delicious dinner combined with some late blackberries she had found.
she purred as she attached the poultice she had prepared to braveheart's slightly infectious wound; a deep scratch on one flank.
