    Foxsprint goes into her den, and the rose sits on her nest. She gasps. She lies down on her nest, and puts the rose between her paws. She cuddles it, shocked. Me??

    Soulfrost told sandpaw to wait a moment and went to Stormblaze. "I asked you to come on patrol with sandpaw and I," she meowed. "Come on we're leaving now.

    Foxsprint just stares at the rose. It seemed... unbelievable. Maybe it was a different tom who gave it to her.... no, it was the exact same rose she told Shadowstar to give to the one he loves. She closes her eyes.

She jumped into the deep water and started to paddle but then realized the current was too strong, it soon pulled her under and as hard as she tried she couldn't get to the surface for air. She gasped and water filled her lungs, she blinked her blue eyes a last time and faded into the deep water.[/fancypost][/fancypost]

    Stormblaze was near the river by that time and saw the apprentice struggle in the water. She raced up to the shore and sprang in. He could swim, he had learned it long ago. He swam with the current a bit and dived under to the apprentice and pulled her out by her scruff, laying her down on the sand. "Snowpaw!" he said desperately, but as he saw she wasnt breathing he knew it was to late. He took her and dragged her bag to camp, laying her into the camp middle for her family and mentor to mourn.


    Heathstar saw that and headed for Stormblaze and he explained

    Heathstar jumped onto a branch over her den "Today" she began in a sad voice "we lost one of our apprentices. Snowpaw is with StarClan now. Tonight we will sit with her and share tongues a last time with her. May she be well in StarClan. "
    Heathstar thought about remention to teach swimming again, but she also knew it was the wrong moment. She would do that tomorrow. Most of the warriors could swim but not everyone. And she now thought it was nessesary. She hopped down from the branch and walked over to the dead apprentices body.
