Ebony didn't want to believe it. He wanted it to be hoax. A petty trick played on him by his friends from other clans to make him stay, but deep inside he knew this wasn't a prank. Face it Ebony, Windclan has turned against you. They no longer want you by their side, you've become their adversary... a mere target for their apprentices to chase. Froststar's nasty words echoed in Ebony's mind as he dashed through Windclan territory. The harsh weather didn't help very much with Ebony's personal quest to discover whether he was still welcome in the clan he had invested countless hours protecting. Nearly frozen raindrops propelled by a cold and bitter wind strong enough to make any cat regret stepping out of their den that day. The lithe loner's thick pelt provided little protection from the cold rain. Ebony's usually straight fur had plastered up against his freezing skin as the frozen winds ruthlessly nipped at his face. Breathing proved difficult in this harsh weather, but the jet black tom refused to surrender to the icy conditions... making his way to the Windclan camp was nothing compared to the scars and wounds he had gladly received to defend Windlcan. In the end, Ebony's hard work had payed off. His lemon colored eyes stared sadly at the camp. All that was required now was to wait for a Windclan warrior to notice an old friend waiting for an answere in the cold and unforgiving weather.

[justify]Scarredheart was patrolling the borders, thick fur fluffed up against the freezing torrential onslaught of the freezing rain. The head bodyguard hated padding through the muck caused by rain mixing with the loose soil of his homeland, but at least it wasn't too bad with the ground being more frozen than usual. Turquoise gaze narrowed to try to keep rain from getting in his eyes, Scarredheart caught sight of a dark blob.
Loping forward in a light rain, he slowed down as he approached Ebony. "Can I help you?" the young Head Bodyguard asked, voice cool.
-
Silverskies, the head Body Guard Apprentice bounded along the territory, she loved the rain. Suddenly she smelled Scarredheart and looked up. Another scent mixed with his, one that wasn't Windclan. She started padding towards the scent trail, even though it was hard to follow in the rain.
-
The newly made apprentice, AshPaw, sat close to her new bed as she shiverd, wind hitting her grey chest and flowing threw her long thick grey and black spotted fur, she did not mind the wind and rain as much as a cat would, she quite liked the feel of it, her light blue eyes stairing off into the snowy like sky.
-
Ebony shot Scarredheart a side glance as he loudly gasped for air. The chilly weather combined with the intense fatigue the tom had received from his strenuous journey made breathing incredibly difficult. Needless to say, talking under these conditions where near impossible, but just as before, Ebony refused to allow the weather dictate his limits. "It's... been a while" The dark loner rasped before returning to his panting (Which sounded more like painful wheezes.)
-
Silverskies stood at Scarredheart's shoulder and glanced at the tom with narrowed eyes, to keep the icy sheets of rain from her eyes. Her beautiful silver fur was slicked down so that you could see every outline of stone-hard muscle as she padded forward. Silverskies glanced at Scarredheart and flattened her ears against the rain.
-
Ebony turned his attention towards Silverskies', who he greeted with a weak smile. "By the looks of both of you I'd say Windclan is doing pretty well" The enigmatic loner said, his voice obviously very hoarse.
-
Silverskies flicked her ears. She didnt really know how to respond to that. "Yah, yes we are." she mewed at last and blinked rain from her eyes.
