Cara chuckled and stood up "doesn't matter about me." And she shook out her fur and turne to walk away knowing Richard and Kahlan could look after her.

Island frowned "Don't leave me alone.." her voice was weak, and she pleaded much like a pup. Shivering, Island saw it was useless to beg anymore so she began grooming her fur. After a few minutes, her pelt was mostly dry again and the bullet wounds had stopped bleeding along with her swollen leg form the trap. She stood and uneasily padded out of the den to gaze at the apearing stars above.

Cara set out to collect the female caribou Richard had killed and bring it back. when she found it, a leg was missing and a fox was no more then two tail lengths away chewing on it, Cara let a roar escape from her throat and she lunged for it but it yelped an ran off. she sighed annoyed and grabbed the caribou by the throat and lugged it back to the pack.
