  • Angel sat in her cage, chained by the ankles and wrists. She was huddled in the corner of her cage, watching every person that walked by through dark green eyes. The young human was determined to look as unfriendly as possible as if that would somehow help her not to get chosen. She didn't want to go away with some pathetic vampire slave owner. She had heard from stories what owners did to their slaves, and she didn't want to be a part in such things! The sign outside of her cage read "Angel Blue; Human."

Ooc: What I need is a slave owner. He can be abusive and pervy or even nice. Maybe bipolar. Lol, however you would like! :)

  • [Center]

Ooc: ooh! Bipolar would work for me, seeing as whenever I want to display one emotion in a character I display the complete opposite, so bipolar it is! I'll post tomorrow after I've slept.

  • [Center][color=white]Xavier had never been to one of these auctions, or shops for that matter. He'd never been interested. But today he decided what the heck, and decided to take a look around.

Curiosity over swept him as he turned every corner. Some of the humans in the cages reached out and clawed violently at anyone who walked by. Some cowered in the corner of there cage and cried, refusing to look at anyone. One inparticular human caught his eye.

A female that was called Angel Blue. She wasn't being aggressive, but she wasn't cowering either. She was sitting there glaring, but that was it. No hissing or clawing or crying.

In his mind, he notioned the ones who clawed and hissed were foolish for fighting, and the ones crying were weak and pitiful. But this one, Angel Blue, was clever and strong. Refusing to show weakness but restraining herself from attacking. Very clever.

He went over to the cage and crouched down to be at her level.

    ''What's up?" He asked casually.

Ooc: BWAHAHAHAHA MUSE HAS STRUCK AGAIN!!!!! :D

  • Ooc: Ha, awesome! :3

    Ic:
Angel's dark green eyes almost seemed to narrow as she gazed upon the newcomer.

The young human merely crossed her arms over her chest and blew her messy brown hair out of her eyes.

She had learned long ago that replying to things got her no where good in life. It had gotten her into this whole slavery mess, separated from her younger brother, and let's not forget the scars on her back.

Angel turned her head slightly to the side and averted her eyes elsewhere as a plump, red-faced man came up,"Hello, sir. Can I help you with anything?" he asked cheerily, obviously fueled by coffee of some sort.

  • [Center] [color=white]Xavier saw her reaction and smirked, knowing all too well she didn't want to talk to him.

He restrained from flinching when he'd heard the man beside him speak. Where had his head gone? It wasn't like him to be so focused on something that he didn't sense someone approaching.

He stood straight and smiled politely at the man.

''Yes actually, I was wondering how much this girl here cost.'' He said, looking over at Angel.

His smile seemed to grow wider.

    ''She's...intriguing.''

  • "Oh, Angel Face?" Chuckled the red-faced man with a large white grin,"She ain't for much. 'Bout five shillings to be exact."

Angel was in shock for two reasons:

One: There was somebody who wanted to buy her. The thought sent a shockwave of fear and anxiety through her entire body.

Two: She was being sold for only five shillings? What the h*ll was up with that? Only the other day had she seen somebody sold for nearly a hundred! She felt rather worthless just then.

She stood up in the cage, her head almost touching the roof of the small area, and walked over to the bars, forcing her shocked expression into one of emptiness.

  • [Center][color=white] Xavier saw the look of shock that passed Angel's face from the corner of his eye. His face probably had that same look of shock.

But he quickly composed himself and smiled once more.

''Only five shillings? To be honest, I think she's worth a lot more.''

He pulled out 5 shilling and placed it in the man's hands. Then he gave the man an icy glare, which at this point almost seemed uncharacteristic for him.

''Wouldn't you agree that I'm right, sir?"

He didn't say it any differently, he kept his voice calm and still. But with the glare he had...it seemed all the more deadly.
