(Takes place two years after the movie)
It's been two years since the defeat of Pitch Black, the Nightmare King.
Two years since Jack Frost became an official Guardian.
Two years since the spirit of winter found his first believer in Jamie Bennett.
Two years since the Guardians were reminded of what it truly meant to be a Guardian.
And two years since the Man in the Moon last spoke to any of the Guardians.
What could this mean? Is something amiss? Has something happened to MiM?
None of the Guardians took notice of this change for those two years, enjoying the happiness brought by the defeat of the Nightmare King. No one ever paused to wonder why the Man in the Moon would suddenly stop speaking to them. And no one ever would have, if it weren't for what happened that fateful day...
The Guardians went on protecting the children and providing the small joys of spreading wonder, hope, dreams, memories, and fun during those two years. It seemed as though everything was finally falling back into the happy pattern of the days before Pitch, except, thanks to a certain white-haired spirit, the Guardians focused much more on the actual children than just the work put into making them happy. Jack visited Jamie every so often during the winters, and little Sophie looked forward to when Bunnymund would visit on her birthday every year.
Everything was happy. Everything was calm. Everything was right.
Or so the Guardians thought. Oh, how naive the Guardians truly were. They knew of the existence of many other spirits- some, such as the Groundhog, were pointedly remembered as disliked. But not once did the Guardians consider what the spirits might think. Especially now that Jack Frost had joined the Guardians.
And that was the last straw.
Many spirits had been waiting very long in hopes of one day becoming a Guardian- much longer than the young Jack Frost. And now, seeing the spirit of winter made into a Guardian, these spirits finally snapped. True, most weren't true Guardians at heart, and never could be, but in their eyes, any one of them would have been a better choice than the nuisance that was Jack Frost.
And so, they attacked.
The angry spirits banded together, and they were attacking each Guardian over and over again. But each time, they managed to do so without being recognized. The Guardians were on-edge, but blew it off as nothing, as each attack was never anything too major. This only fueled the fire, and it was the night of December 21st, 2014- the first day of winter- when they finally decided to take more drastic measures. They hunted down Jack Frost, and ambushed the spirit of winter. Jack was caught by surprise, and they used that to their advantage, taking their anger out on the young winter spirit.
It was during the fight that it happened, and the clash that followed was one that would trigger things so unexpected, so dark, so evil, that the Guardians may find that they have finally met their match...
Everything hurt. I don't know what happened. I was flying over America, I think, headed for Burgess, like I always did on the first day of winter, when they jumped me. Something tackled me so hard, I crashed to the ground. But the snow had only just begun to fall from the dark sky- it was too early for the sun to be out yet- so the fall hurt more than it would have normally. I'd tried to get up, I really did, but then it started. I was being struck, over and over again, by something I could only glance. I swung my staff, blasting ice and wind everywhere to the point where I had caused the light snowfall to turn into the beginnings of a blizzard, and screaming at the unknown figure. No, figures. There was definitely more than one. But they were fast. Too fast. They'd taken my staff. And I was starting to feel... tired....
Jack yelled out in anger and pain as something huge suddenly tackled into him again. He hit the ground, but the heavy object didn't budge. It was pinning him down, in a way that made it difficult to breathe. His body protested with sharp bursts of pain, but he refused to cry out anymore. He wouldn't give them that satisfaction.
Suddenly, a darkly shadowed face was inches from his own. His surprise almost instantly became a vicious snarl, but the face only sneered, so similarly to that of the Nightmare King's that Jack had defeated two years ago, yet so much more hateful. As it began to speak- he, Jack noted by the voice- Jack could feel the rage and hatred in the falsely calm tone.
"What a pathetic excuse for a Guardian. Man in the Moon really is dumb for thinking that such a dumb, weak kid could ever actually amount to anything." Jack would have snapped something back, but he couldn't suck in enough air to do it. The world was starting to blacken around him, and it took more concentration that it should have to make out the voice's words.
"......didn't even come for you. Bet they can't wait to get rid of you. Well, neither can we. How dare MiM look over all of the other spirits for some winter brat...!.......-ime to wrap up. The sun's coming up." And suddenly, something sharp and metallic glinted not an inch from Jack's face. The figure pinning him down picked him up roughly, using one arm to twist both arms behind the winter spirit, the other to cover Jack's mouth. Jack was starting to sway by the time he noticed the metal object approaching him at an alarming speed...
FLASH!
A bright flash of light went off, forcing Jack to shut his eyes. He didn't know how much time had passed when he started to feel tired. He knew he should stay awake. He knew this could be dangerous. But sleep sounded so good at the moment....
"Don't sweat it, kid. You're not gonna be dyin' anytime soon." The lighthearted voice was unfamiliar, but yet Jack found himself trusting the stranger. His world became black as he finally gave in to unconsciousness...
In this, all the Guardians are available to be played, along with Jamie, Sophie, and Jamie's friends. Along with those main characters, there are also the "Anti-Guardians", as they are called at the moment. These are the angry spirits who want to destroy the Guardians, and make themselves the new Guardians. Included in this group are the Groundhog, the Leprechaun, and several others. OC spirits are allowed, to an extent- they have to make sense in the RotG universe. There are some spirits who are neither Guardian nor Anti-Guardian- it is their own choice whether or not they take sides in this. Supposedly, the Anti-Guardians are the only ones fighting the Guardians, but could Jack's appointment to Guardianship really be the only reason they finally decided to fight back? Or is there some greater darkness pulling the strings; something even darker and older than Pitch?

My Forms-
Name: Jack Frost
Guardian of/Spirit of: Fun/Winter
Other: Jack Frost! Who else?
Name: Drayden Reaper
Nickname(s): "(The) Grim Reaper", Dray
Gender: Male
Age: Dray looks about sixteen or seventeen, but has actually been around for over a thousand years.
Personality: Dray isn't what you'd expect from the Grim Reaper. He is somewhat quiet, but he won't ever hesitate to speak his mind. He has his own way of thinking, and though it wouldn't exactly be called stubbornness, once he's made up his mind, it's near impossible to talk him out of it. Dray won't sugarcoat things, and he'll use physical contact, like a punch to the shoulder, as his way to show any sort of "affection". He can be blank at times, quiet and reserved, but he usually covers that with a grin and cracks a joke to try to ignore that empty feeling that comes from knowing he's the one responsible for taking lives every day.
Appearance:
His skin is extremely pale, with black nails, silver eyes, and black hair.
Guardian of/Spirit of: Peace/Death
Powers/Fighting Style: Since, obviously, Drayden can't be there every time someone dies, as there are constantly people dying across the world, he actually focuses his power so it will take physical form- usually something peaceful, like a butterfly (in the picture) or a dove- and each one can go lead a person's spirit to "the other side" (Even Drayden hasn't been, and doesn't know, where the spirits go- he just knows how to lead them there) The creatures always glow either red or yellow, though he can sometimes make them a different color if he concentrates even more energy into it (i.e. the weakest would be red, the strongest would be green or blue or something). They are similar to Tooth's mini-fairies, in a way. The black threads around his neck actually are like a stamp, saying he is the Grim Reaper, and they glow whenever he uses his powers. He only draws a spirit from its body ("killing" the person) when he is actually trying to do so- touching him won't instantly kill you. In fact, he can actually just look at someone, not even touching them, and draw the spirit out- he concentrates his power, and his eyes glow golden-yellow (the "light at the end of the tunnel" that people follow to their deaths) instead of silver. He can also fly, for short periods of time (though it's more like gliding...)
Drayden fights using martial arts like karate, but can also use a scythe. However, he usually prefers to fight physically. His scythe can disappear and be summoned at will.
History: He doesn't know. (will be discovered in the rp. I'll put it here as it is revealed)
Other: Nothing for now. But take a guess at who helped Jack!
