    Pineclaw heard Athena's voice and froze looking around for a possible exit. He couldn't find one so he kept quiet hoping she wouldn't come looking for him.

    Athena blinked her tears away. " I-I guess it's n-not h-him..." She whimpered, even though she knew it was him. She turned around and laid down, hiding her face.

    Pineclaw sighed walking just a little closer but not out of the forest. "Yeah, it's me" he said staying put in the forest.

    Athena looked up. " We need to talk...Pineclaw, I love you, please..." She whimpered, the grey and white she-cats swollen belly pressed to the cold ground so Pineclaw wouldn't see how big she'd gotten.

    "Why do we need to talk?" Pineclaw asked desperately "I love you i shouldnt and I'm a warrior and your a kitty pet, I'm trying to let you go because you shouldn't change."

    Athena's eyes watered up. " I'm pregnant! But I guess YOU wouldn't CARE because YOUR A WARRIOR and IM A KITTYPET! " She yowled, dashing up her fence. " YOU SNAKE HEART! "

    "NO YOUR THE SNAKE HEART YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND LOVING YOU GOES AGAINST EVERYTHING I'VE EVER KNOWN! BUT YOU WANT ME TO CHANGE WHEN I HAVE LOYALTYS TO MY CLAN AND IM SAYING YOU SHOULDN'T CHANGE YOUR PRESSURING ME YOU COLD HEARTED FISH!" Pineclaw screamed through the fence.

    " I NEVER WANTED YOU TO CHANGE! I JUST WANTED YOU TO COME MORE THAN ONCE! AND I LIED PINECLAW! I REGRET EVERYTHING! I WISH I'D NEVER MATED WITH YOU BECAUSE NOW IM STUCK WITH YOUR KITS THAT YOU WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH! I HOPE THEIR NOTHING LIKE YOU! " Athena sobbed, tears streaming down her cheeks. " I LOVED YOU, YOU FOX HEART, I STILL DO..."

    "You-…think I don't love you? W-wait and you think I don't want anything to with my kits?" Pineclaw mewed painfully. Athena had hit a nerve "I do, and I wanted to come again, but you said every night" he said softly and quietly.

    Athena was quiet for a while. " I didn't mean it like that...Im sorry Pineclaw...I just....I love you Pineclaw..." She mewed sadly, climbing back over tthe fence. " I don't regret anything Pineclaw..." She murmured, pressing against him. " Im so sorry..."

    Athena's heart ached. She looked down, unable to figure out why he was so unsatisfied with her after she'd apologized and said she loved him. " We love each other...But you don't want to be with me anymore? Why? " She whimpered, crouching low to the ground infront of him. She looked at her swollen belly, pain surging through her body. " Ah, Pineclaw! " She groaned as her water broke( or whatever ).

    Pineclaw was stunned for a second "who should I get?" he asked not knowing if she'd want him to take her to the medicine cat.

    Athena laid down, clenching her teeth. Her miscolored eyes gleaming pleadingly. " Just stay..." She whimpered. " Ah! " She breathed, closing her eyes. " It hurts so bad Pineclaw! " She murmured, clentching her teeth until a tortie tom was born. The tiny grey and white she-cat panted, stopping when a white tom was born. A red tom was born. And last a dilute tortie. Pineclaw..." She panted, eyes half closed.

    "It's okay…" Pineclaw whispered soothingly "it's over, your okay and our kits are beautiful" he mewed happily.

    Athena laid down her head as their four kits began to nurse, mewling quietly. " I love you Pineclaw..." She murmured weakly, smiling softly.
