  • [font=tahoma]The kit marched out of the nursery, her dark blue eyes staring hard at the puddles that formed in the recent rain. Pouting her lips into a frown, she widened the curious orbs on her face, slapping down a white paw into the water. She pulled it back wet, and shook it off, leaning over the puddle. A gasp slipped from her when she saw an exact replica of herself staring back at her, wearing an identical expression. She lifted her leg over the water, and the reflection did the same. Weird... thought the tabby.

"Maybe it's magical!" Chirped Puddlekit, speaking her thoughts out loud. The she-kit inhaled and held her breath, before exhaling loudly onto the water, causing ripples to distort her reflection. "Ah!" She proceeded to shout, prodding at the puddle once more. "Mister Thing in the Water that Looks Like Me? Can you send me a friend? I want someone to play with and there's nobody around," Puddlekit asked in a syrupy, childish voice, sitting all nicely with her eyes wide.

  • [ ooc;; sorry for the bad post, my muse hates me. ]

Runekit peeked her head out of the nursery when she heard a voice. She immediately brightened when she saw another kit, bounding over to her. She skidded to a halt, paws dipping into the puddle a little bit. "I can be your friend~" she purred.

  • Having not sensed Runekit running up behind her, Puddlekit jumped when she piped up, falling face first into the puddle of rain water. "Oof," Groaned the kit as fell, soon lifting her face that was dripping wet. It was just then she realized what Runekit had mewed. "Really?!" The blue silver tabby shouted in non-belief. "Okay! I'll be your friend, too!" She looked at the puddle she was sitting in and kissed the water. "You really are magical, Mister Alternate Puddlekit!"

ooc; How dare you hate Ashii, Mister Muse? >:(

Runekit let out a surprised giggle when Puddlekit fell into the water, distorting their reflections even more. "I like making friends; too bad all my siblings don't like me." At the mention of her siblings, she made a face like she had smelled crowfood. She leaned down to kiss the water too, following her new friend's example. "Mister Alternate Puddlekit is awesome."

  • The she-kit wasn't quite sure of how to react when Runekit metioned her siblings. She knew the expression on her face meant she wasn't happy, but she wasn't familiar with her situation, or dealing with family. Instead, she decided to change the subject. "Oh look! There's an Alternate Runekit, too!" Puddlekit chirped, staring at Runekit's reflection in the puddle of rainwater.

    ooc; Sky is glaring back.

  • |{ mister muse is cowering. xD }|

Runekit stared at her reflection in the now-still puddle, lifting her paw in the air and giggling as her duplicate did the same. She spent a while in contented silence, making funny faces and watching her reflection change. "Huh. I guess there is." she purred.

  • ooc; sky is laughing in triumph.

"And they're best friends. Just like we are," Mewed Puddlekit happily, "Now and forever! Even if the sun comes and dries dem up, they're still be playing around, in dose weird white puffs in the sky!"

  • |{ So is Ashurii. :3 }|

"Yeah, they'll always be playing up in the clouds just like we are here~" Runekit purred happily. She touched a paw to the water and watched it ripple. "Forever." She grinned at Puddlekit, pondering. "What do you wanna play first?"

  • ooc; :D

The tabby stood up and shook some of the fur from her pelt, smiling widely at Runekit. This was the birth of a beautiful friendship, she could tell. "Yep!" Puddlekit squeaked and pranced in place, her eyes wide and bright. "Let's play, uh, let's act like leaders of two different Clans that are against each other!"

  • "Okay~ You can be leader of... PuddleClan, and I'll be Runestar, leader of RuneClan." Runekit chirped excitedly. She knew as well that they were going to be great friends; they shared a fondness for games and puddles and- Runekit let out a giggle, unable to think of anything else.

  • "Alright den, Runestar!" Exclaimed Puddlekit, temporarily Puddlestar. The blue silver kit jumped back away from Runekit, spreading her limbs about and wagging her tail slowly back and forth. "Come on! You say you're da strongest in the forest! But you haven't crossed claws with mee!"

  • "Then let's fight now, Puddleki-star." Runekit growled playfully. "I am the strongest in the forest! You're gonna regret crossing me." She aimed a paw, claws sheathed, at Puddlekit's head.

  • "I know you've been stealing PuddleClan's prey! You mongrel!" Playfully hissed Puddlekit, who dodged Runekit's paw and jumped towards her, aiming to tackle the she-kit to the ground.

  • Runekit skittered out of the way. "If PuddleClan's too lazy and weak to hold onto their own prey, then why shouldn't I take it?" she sneered, aiming to thump her again.

  • Puddlekit felt Runekit's paw come down on her head, making her squeak and feel temporarily dizzy. The tabby shook her head and narrowed her eyes, taking a deep breath. "PuddleClan is not lazy or weak! RuneClan is just dishonorable!" Spat the she-kit charging at Runekit with her head in front of her.

  • "Dishonor is not the same thing as survival of the fittest!" Runekit proclaimed, skittering to the side. She aimed to headbutt her friend, hoping she could hit her again.

  • Growling in frustration, Puddlekit was tired of being hit, having been crashed into by Runekit's skull. The she-kit stepped back and stood on her hind legs, pawing at the air before flipping backwards and kicking at her friend. Her landing wasn't that successful, but she at least hoped she landed a hit with her new experimental trick.

  • Runekit let out a squeal as she was hit by Puddlekit's legs, crashing to the ground with a thud. "Nice one."

  • "Thanks! I call it.. 'Slam-kick-a-pow!'" Replied Puddlekit happily. The tabby jumped up when her eyes landed on Runekit. "I didn't hurt you, did I? Are you okay?"
