Once Loved, We Now Live in the Shadow of Hatred (Rouge Group Forming)

Shadow glanced back, watching the others as he neared the edge of the low-lying roof of the one-story building. He leapt as soon as his paws met the edge, and dove into the broken window of another building.

"So you decided to join us," Monsoon commented as she glanced at Blade. She then watched as Shadow disappeared and couldn't help but think, So that's where he was going... She dove after Shadow and a piece of dust-coated glass caught her paw, but she hardly noticed it.

Shadow spaced himself from the broken window he hopped through and watched as Monsoon came in after him. The black-furred tom calmly sat down by the wall opposite to the window, his form practically hidden in the shadows cast by the dim light from outside, and only shown fully when lightning struck.

"You knew something like this was going to happen, didn't you?" Monsoon asked Shadow as she stepped into the darkness of the seemingly abandoned building. She gently set Blaze and Lion down between her paws and set her gaze upon the black tom, whom remained silent.

Blaze stared around the dark, dusty room with emerald eyes wide. This place seemed safer, sure, but somehow it put her red tabby fur on end. Perhaps because she had never ventured far from the alley? She didn't know. In any case, she shifted over slightly and bumped into Monsoon and suddenly felt something warm and wet go down her spine, making her squeal with surprise. "What is that!?"

"Oh, sorry. I must've cut myself on the way in." Monsoon lifted her wounded paw and moved it away from the kits before licking the blood out of Blaze's fur. Once she was done with that, she began to clean the wound on her paw.

Fang had tried to stay quiet and still the whole time ever since Rose handed her over to Ember, but she was terrified. Her whole body began to shake and she couldn't help but whimper slightly.

ooc: I think Ghostkit too.

Fang's usual timidness took over as she shrank down to the ground, her eyes wide. She stared up at Ember and mewed, "A-are you sure...?"

ooc: Nope. Only Shadow, Monsoon, Lion, Blaze, and Fang. Hey, wait, Ember is where my other characters are, right? Inside the building?

Fang hesitantly nodded. She was still terrified, but Ember's words helped soothe her a bit.

ooc: Yeah. I just wanted to test out how to make smoke, and Shadow just seemed like the perfect candidate to draw in the background. Took me several hours to get him to look just right, but apparently I draw silhouettes better than actual fully-done characters... Then I just decided, screw it, I'll stick him in my siggy XDDD Why not *flails* Where is everyone anyways?

ooc: Well, I know Cloud isn't always on 'cause Cloud's lame and--I mean... Uh... XDDDD Jk. Cloud's amazing and I wouldn't have been able have as much done on my ideas for animations and such if it weren't for Cloud and all, but seriously, not always on.

And that'd be scary if you actually like, reached through the computer or something and legitly ate them. I'd fear for my life then XDDDD

And as far as the anatomy goes... Well, I kind of took an Anatomy/Physiology class last semester, so I guess that'd be one reason I'd be a little better at anatomy than some people (we learned about things that were similar and different between humans and cats and dissected cats in that class). But really, I just found a picture off of Google that had a cat in relatively the same position I wanted Shadow to be in and used that to draw him. Makes things much easier when you have something to look at. Absolutely sucks when you make a new species for something and have absolutely no reference to look at XDDDD 'Course, then people can't complain 'cause it's a species you made, but still. Either way, I'm really not that good at drawing, trust me XDDDD Especially not compared to people like SumikoOneeSan or ssswarriorcats. Majorly jealous of people like them XDDD

ooc: When's school for you then? 'Cause around 8 in the morning is when I'm pretty much ready and about to leave the house. Then again, it doesn't technically start until 8:45 but whatever.

Well yeah. Everyone knows SSS are the best Warriors animators out there. Of course, they also have a whole team helping out, whereas I'm drawing, coloring, shading, etc all by myself. Plus, I have no prior experience to this kind of thing, hence why I have never made a single video yet XDDDD 'Cause I'm lame and I don't understand technology, even with the help of YouTube. But have you ever heard of Sumiko? Her artwork is pretty amazing as well. But she doesn't do Warriors, she has other animations like her TW3TBE series that she is currently making which is about wolves (well, one wolf in particular named Wolfen, but still).

Nope. Not illegal. How are we supposed to learn things about animals if we don't know what they look like on the inside? I mean, it's sad and all that they're dead, but still. What I don't get is why most people at my school think that we go out and kill cats to dissect them. 'Cause we don't. The cats we get are either strays that couldn't socialize with humans to become pets or like, housecats that were put down for whatever reason (died of old age or disease, etc) and donated.

ic: Noticing Ember and Fang, Blaze bounced away from Monsoon and headed over to her sister. She licked Fang's forehead a couple of times, trying to both calm her down and flatten a bit of ruffled fur as a mother would. She then looked up at Ember, curiousity sparking in her emerald eyes. "Where's Rose? Wasn't she with you?"
