    Fang snarled at Eagle.

    Fang glanced at Snow then looked at Duke.


    Duke's eyes locked on Fang's.


    Fang showed his teeth, ready to kill him.

    Eagle once again used her minor special commanding howl. ''Fang, why do you want to kill your brother? What would Snow think if you killed your brother? She may just leave you and you will become a lone wolf. I will never forgive you, and perhaps neither will Snow. Remember this: If you ever try to hurt Duke, i will always be there protecting him from harm. He is my friend and love. And i will always rescue YOU when you try to kill yourself or about to be killed. Remember those words." Eagle barked at him. Then she turned away from him and stood in front of Duke.

    Fang smirked "my brother doesn't need protection from a female and neither do i, and i don't care if i'm a lone wolf because i was a lone wolf all my life"

    Duke growled "Fang you will never survive alone, without me you would be dead"


    "who was the nice one and hunted and watched for predators all night, me" Fang snapped.


    Duke was quiet for a moment "you didn't have to"


    "Remember when i attacked that mountain lion while you were asleep cuz i didn't want to wake you" Fang barked, fury in his eyes.

    Suddenly, a chorus of howls cut though the air and a pack of female wolves ran up to Eagle. The deputy, her name was Swift, came up to Eagle and said,'' Eagle, we heard your commanding howls. They sounded... threatening. Is the wolf over there (points to Fang) the cause of all this?" Eagle replied,'' Yes, he is. His name is Fang. The one behind me is Duke, his brother. I'm protecting him from Fang, who wants to kill him. That white she-wolf over there is Snow. Surround Fang and prevent him from getting anywhere." Swift nods yes and barks to the other wolves. They quickly surround Fang, but they give him a wide enough circle so he can move, but not go anywhere else.

    Duke and Fang stepped back from Eagle and the pack.

    A large white female, not of the pack, broke into the circle and stood by Fang. "It's alright, he's with me." She said and gave him a look that told him to play along. "Come on, we should head back now. You can bring your friend if you want." She motioned to Duke.

    "Or you could bring her…" She said. "But she doesn't look too friendly with you at the moment."

    Fang looked at the female "yeah she's my...sister come on Duke let's go"


    Duke looked confused "oh right sister" he barked.

    As soon as they were out of earshot, the white wolf breathed a sigh of relief. "Phew, that was close! My name's Isis, by the way."
