    Dafydd slowly opened his eyes and sat up groggily. Tightly clutched in his right hand was his plushie dragon, Draig, whilst in his left was the cotton quilt of his bed, made specially by his mother. He yawned before struggling out of his bed by sliding down the frame and fumbling to her his slippers on. All the while, Draig just complained to him how he hadn't been able to breathe all night thanks to his tight grasp on his neck.


    Angharad was already awake, working tirelessly outside on the farm despite the awful weather. Covered in dirt and wearing her usual farm clothes ~ baggy brown dungarees and a stained blue shirt ~ she dragged yet another sack of hay over to the sheep field. With a grunt, she tossed it into the trough and petted the feeding sheep lovingly.

    Soon,Lily woke up her sleepy twin daughters and went off to make breakfast.


    Mikey hugged his mother good morning."Mornin Mom!"


    Maya smiled."Morning sweetie.."

    Angharad walked into the small stone cottage, kicking off her muddy boots in the porch and heading straight for the kitchen. She had put her curly hair in a braid for the sake of working, but it had come incredibly loose, only adding to the her messy, unkempt look. She leaned over the oven, trying to think of what to cook for breakfast.


    "Aw, nevermind," she muttered in her typical South Wales accent. "Dafydd can just have cereal."


    As she spoke, Kiku walked into the room. He wasn't really used to the terrible weather or the unnatural cold in the house, so he had wrapped a quilt around himself. He stifled a sneeze, knowing that doing that would probably be rude. The couple ~ Kiku and Angharad ~ liked to move between the Japanese and Welsh household every year. Unfortunately, this year was Welsh year, which meant bad weather and waking up to "baa"ing sheep every morning.


    Dafydd trudged down the stairs, trying not to slip his slippers which were slightly too big for him.
