Firefall was hunting in the woods when he heard Sol running into the forest. Immediately, he found her. "What happened?" he asked, concern in his eyes.

"The dumb tom tried to mate with me and i bit him."

"Good for you." he paused. "The biting part, not the other thing." Firefall said, quickly backtracking and correcting his mistake. "Did your owners throw you out then?" he asked.

"Yeah.... I was wondering if i could stay with you."

"Sure," he replied. "But you have to hunt for your food. Have you ever hunted before?" Firefall asked the housecat.

"Yes," he confirmed. "Have you ever caught anything, even a mouse?" Firefall asked.

"Well then, I'll have to teach you to hunt. Follow me." Silently, he looked for a scent to track. When he found one, he stalked his prey and pounced on it. Firefall picked up the dead vole and carried it back.
