  • Fawnpaw nodded slightly, not know what to say after the past two days. It seemed awkward and uncanny, and her voice hadn't escaped since the accident. Only nods, shaking of the head, shrugs, and such as that. It's just she didn't know what to say to her.

She reached forward and gulped down the morsel of mouse willingly.

ooc; I'm on that other website. You should join the little chatbox thing in Shadowclan D: I want someone to roleplay with. -sniffle-

  • Brightpaw bit her lip and started to clean her friends pelt, she had already done her perfectly because Wavestar had told her once they came back they would have their warrior ceremony straightaway.

  • Fawnpaw didn't protest, not feeling the words come to her straight away. Not even the tiniest of purrs. She wasn't angered anymore; didn't even know if she even wanted to go back to the camp for her ceremony. Brightpaw had told her how everyone was thinking she was dead. The other apprentices were probably throwing a party by now. She wasn't going to let them think of her as a quitter, which she wasn't.

    They'd leave soon, very soon.

  • Brightpaw felt her heart sink as her best friend said nothing and did nothing. Only blinking.

'The accident must have really hurt her...' the apprentice thought sadly, finishing her silky tail and sighed.

"Come on. It's time we go. Are you sure you can walk?" the apprentice purred softly, almost like a whisper.

  • Fawnpaw shrugged, getting to her paws without much effort. She limped along, her instincts pointing her toward the camp. The she-cat set the pace at a slow rate, feeling that the slower they got there, the better.

  • Brightpaw frowned and let her wind wonder at all the times they played around and goofed off. That familiar situation looked way off now. Sighing, the apprentice slugged back after her friend.

  • Fawnpaw opened her maw a few times to speak, yet the words wouldn't come out. Their thoughts seemed to be disconnected for the meantime, didn't know quite the reason why. She used to be able to so easily read another cats' emotions, yet it wasn't coming to her. Tears started to form at her eyes, though they were already red.

  • Brightpaw looked down at the hard ground sadly, seeing all the tiny little cracks lead up to a small foothole.

'Thats like us. All of the small problems have led us down and down. Until we can't communicate anymore. Or we don't want to.' the apprentice let years streak down her face and turned away.

  • Words suddenly streamed out of her mouth, tears starting to fall rapidly. 'It used to be all nice. Brightnose was my mentor, nothing more. Now she's my mom. Everything has been going wrong. You with that Owlpaw, and the dangers, River...' the rest seemed barely audible with her choking and sniffling.

  • Brightpaw leaped onto Fawnpaw, pinning her down as they always used to do but instead of giggling the apprentice let her tears fall freely, instantly making Fawnpaw's pelt wet.

"I know. Has she told you yet?" the apprentice whispered, gazing up at Fawnpaw with huge pools of emerald green, exactly like Brightnose's....

  • 'Told me what?' She could have sworn that if it was more about her being their mother that she'd completely have a break down. It was too much for her at the time, but she found her voice again.

The she-cat closed her eyes, side throbbing again from the sudden tackle.

  • "I'm your sister." Brightpaw mumbled and quickly went into the bushes to fetch more ferns and cobwebs to firmly tie her side together, reappearing again and staring at the ground.

  • Brightpaw nosed Fawnpaw on her side softly and wrapped her friend's side firmly.

"There was never a right time. I'm really sorry.... Sister." the she-cat murmured, wrapping a thick layer of cobwebs around the wound.

  • 'No one told me anything.' She trailed off, neither ashamed, sad, or angered. What was there left to do? Her destiny better have an exciting trail for her, because at this moment, she was confused with her life. Everything she had ever known to be was a lie, except for Casper of course.

  • Brightpaw shook her head. "Like I said. There was no right time. When Brightnose told you... I don't know." she purred, licking down Fawnpaw's pelt where it matted where she landed.

River frowned down from Starclan. Sighing, she quickly rushed down, growling loudly.

"What are you two fighting over now? Whenever you do you always lose something." the beautiful she-cat hissed.

  • "Well I lose something." the ancient warrior growled, thrusting her pelt in their faces. Instead of the many stars that most warrior had River only had several.

  • "Both of you should have died twice now. Starclan warriors can only last a while as well. Every star is a moon of living." River growled, her fur bristling as she thought how long she had been in Starclan but they still would get rid of you.

Brightpaw widened her eyes, she had never seen River this angry before. She'd never seen River angry actually. Normally the gorgeous she-cat was gentle and kind.
