    [align=center][font=georgia]Steve's eyes widened slowly seeing that her father has broken her skin.
    "Right. Should we just go to the lot, or go to Soda's? Soda could easily help you," he said, picking her up and setting her on the wet grass. He grabbed her shoes and closed the window.

    "I don't know, but I'm about to black out..." Ella winced in pain again, blood had soaked the back of her shirt. Two-Bit jogged up. "Steve...what happened?" he demanded.

    [align=center][font=georgia]"Two-Bit! Boy, am I glad to see you! Do you think we can take this broad to your house or Soda's? The ol' man hit her, and she's losing a lot of blood. We need a car. Quick," Steve said seriously.

    "Yeah, my house. I borrowed Shepard's truck, let's get her there." Two-Bit helped Steve carry Ella to the truck. He set her gently in the truck bed, and hopped into the driver's seat with Steve and sped to his house. "Set her on the couch inside." he said to Steve.

    "I guess it is us four." She said unaware of what just happened.


    "Make it five." Dally added.

    [align=center][font=georgia]Steve sped into the house and set Ella on the couch.
    "Hi, Miss Matthews," he said quickly to Two-Bit's mom, hurrying into the medicine cabinet.

    Two-Bit left to go get Pony and the others. "Yo!" he shouted. "Ella got sacked by her ol' man. She's at my house."
    "Hey, Steve. What happened?" Mrs. Matthews asked.

    [align=center][font=georgia]"The girl's old man beat her. Do you have any gauze?" Steve asked.

    She gasped, "That's terrible! Is she okay?" she turned to the boys, "I'm going to see her. Coming?" she hurried over to Two-Bit, "Is she at your place?"

    "Yeah," Two-Bit answered. Mrs. Matthews handed him the gauze and eyed Ella sadly. "That man needs to be behind bars."

    [align=center][font=georgia]Steve nodded to Mrs. Matthews in agreement and then wrapped Ella's arm in gauze after cleaning up all the other cuts. He then wrapped her up in a tight hug.
    "Ella... Are you awake?"

    Sky, Johnny and Pony raced to Two-Bit's place to see if she was okay.

    Alice shook her head, it was so unfair. She was lucky to have her dad. He was worth a million of Ella's parents. Even when her mom died, he always thought of Alice first.

    Ella opened her big green eyes and blinked up at Steve. "Am now..." she gave him a wink smile and tried to sit up when the boys walked in.

    [align=center][font=georgia]Steve sat next to Ella, a soft pink blush forming on his cheeks.
    "Are you feeling better?"

    "I heard what happened. Ella, I will go beat your dad's head in if you want." she said cracking her knuckles loudly.


    Johnny, Pony, and Dally rushed to her side.


    "You alright?" Johnny asked.

    Ooc~ I meant to put 'weak'...*dumb face*. Lol. Hmm...Steve vs. Johnny. Shall we see who gets her first?(:<


    Ic~ Ella smiled more warmly, the pain in her head was mostly gone, her side ached, and her back hurt like crap. But, to please him, "Yes. Lots."
