  • Flickering back into existence, Tarragon fell to the ground, panting heavily. He had been training with his invisibility for three and a half hours straight. He had no mentor, so he decided he'd teach himself as much as he could, and spy on other training sessions so he could master more. He didn't have any trouble at all with battle, but hunting was another thing altogether. Annoyingly, he launched to his paws, claws unsheathed, ready to go back at the rock he had been sparring with, but paused as he felt a presence at the front of the cave. Turning, he saw a cat he'd never met before watching him.

    {Excuse my suckish post, I can't begin threads too well. xD}

    {{ooc;; it may be short, but it's good quality, unlike my post here.

    {{ic;; Paranormalpaw's pelt felt boiling hot as the cat whipped his head around and faced her. She had thought her invisibility was hiding her.
    "I guess I forgot to keep myself hidden. I was a little... distracted." Her pelt grew even hotter, as she imagined that Tarragon was reading her thoughts. Her brother had telepathy, so it was possible. Clearing her throat, she spoke, trying to keep her voice level and strong.
    "Hello. Couldn't help but notice that you have invisibility." Paranormalpaw's image now flickered, and partially disappeared before reappearing. "Could you… help me with mine?"

  • OOC; Psh, whatever. cx

    IC; Tarragon studied the she-cat before him, eyes narrowed as he contemplated the thought of helping her. After a second, his whole countenance changed and he smiled openly at her. Ears flicking, he sheathed his claws and straightened, muscles relaxing. This she-cat seemed alright enough. Padding forward, he dipped his head to her, his multi-colored eyes friendly. He hoped his horribly mauled facial features didn't disturb her too much. "Of course. My name is Tarragon, by the way. You are?" He asked, nothing but genuine curiosity in his voice and gaze.

    "Paranormalpaw. Pleasure to make your acquaintance." She responded, voice holding the slightest hint of sarcasm. "So, how long have you had your... gift? I've had mine since late kithood, but I still haven't fully got the hang of it." Now her voice held annoyance, as she reluctantly admitted her troubles.
    "But I can see that that know-it-all kit, Translucentkit, obviously has her powers completely under control, having the nerve to train full grown cats to use their invisibility."
    Okay, so maybe Paranormalpaw had been stalking Tarragon, but only a little. After all, who could blame her? Tarragon was sort of desirable, after all.

  • The scarred tom thought for a bit. "Actually, not that long. But I've been catching on really quick." Her jab at Transie suddenly made his heart go cold, and he narrowed his eyes slightly. "I wouldn't be so good if it wasn't for Translucentkit." He stated coolly, backing up a bit away from her. After coldly regarding her for a few moments, he sighed and backed down. "I'm sorry. But Transie is my only friend here. Please do not say anything against her in front of me." He requested, his tone polite. Well, polite for now. Shaking his head, he smiled again. "Now, are there any particular invisibility matters you need help with?"

    Her cream mink ears flattened, and she hissed. Paranormalpaw didn't like Translucentkit- she had been friends with her when she was younger, but now... well things had changed.

    "Fine. Stick up for her, she's actually not that bad, if you don't remember the fact that she bosses everyone around like she's Coppermine, and not some bratty kit."
    So that wasn't the smartest thing to do, insulting somecat who Tarragon obviously liked very much. Too much. A small drop of jealousy had been introduced to the trainee, and now her entire was ruined with this one drop. The she-cat continued, despite Tarragon's warning.
    "She tried questioning cats who wanted to join, before a respectable cat could bring them in to see a third tier for admittance. Doesn't any of that count for anything? She thinks she's the bl**dy leader!"

  • Something inside Tarragon snapped and he felt heat rush through his blood and race into his brain, filling his vision with heat. Unknowingly, he had unsheathed his claws and the fur along his spine had risen. Eyes narrowed to slits and he stood at his full height. Now was the time his horribly scarred and mangled body came in handy....he looked like the messenger-boy of the devil. Fire burning in his gaze, he shoved himself forward until he was pressed against Paranormalpaw, pressing her against the cave wall and sneering down at her.

    "Of course it counts, my dear. It shows that she's taking the initiative, that she's looking forward to becoming a warrior, that she cares enough about BloodClan to take it upon herself to question the cats to see if they're loyal or worthy enough. And just because you question cats, I'm sorry to say, does not make you the leader. No one could measure to Haemon Mist or Dustmist." His voice was cool, composed, and velvety. I suppose you could take it as quite a seductive tone as well. But that all changed as his eyes flashed and he bared his teeth, pressing harder against the she-cat below him. "So if you know what's good for you, you'd stop insulting my best friend, because I am NOT afraid to gut you like a fish!" He snarled, his devilish threat echoing throughout the chamber they were in.

    It was safe to say he needed anger management.
