The Banished Ones (Solar Empire and New Lunar Republic, Semi-Advanced)

Bonbon's eyes widened. "Ly-" she didn't get to finish her sentence before she tackle-hugged the unicorn to the ground, her cheeks already wet with tears.

"I thought you were dead!" Bonbon told her, a new wave of tears overtaking her. "I-I was trying to escape to f-find you..."

Princess Luna opened the door. "Come in, I just finished speaking to my soldiers, they are marching out to Sweet Apple Acres right now. We don't have any time to lose, if you wish to fight, suit up. I'll send a nurse or guard to bring the microchips to Twist." she said hastily, pulling a black helmet over her head.

Twilight stopped next to the door that Bonbon was waiting across from, it held armor and weapons, it was mostly empty since what little armor the NLR did have, was taken by the soldiers marching out to battle right now. AJ limped inside and pulled on a helmet, back leg plates, and back horseshoes. With them, she could easily break skin and leave a huge briuse with one kick. Twilight put on a chest plate and a leg plates, leaving her head and horn exposed. "Come on everypony, saftey first."

"What happened? How did you become part of Luna's resistance? I was trying so hard but then Celestia..." she trailed off, sniffing, and hugged her again, kissing her on the forehead.

"I hate to break ya'll's reunion, but we gotta war ta fight in. Suit up, ya'll can talk along the way." Applejack said, tossing them each some armor.

Luna nodded in agreement, her teal eyes sparkling with determination. She walked to the hidden door, where ponies came in and out of. Just before opening, she tried to communicate with Twilight, but the wristband was showing nothing but static, only chopped, clipped words came through. She closed it with frustration.

Meanwhile, Celestia had already taken off, her large, wide wings carrying her just below the clouds. Her massive, heavy armor weighed her down significantly, but she knew it would be worth it. She knew that by now, there would be fighting already happening at the Acres, blood would be spilled by now, and weapons clashing against weapons. A grin snuck onto her aged, scarred face at the thought of all the chaos and havic going on. She may lose some of her guards, but what did she care? She would go to any amount to destroy the New Lunar Republic and watch them burn down in flames, begging for mercy. And she was going to make sure thats how they went down. Not even the betrayal of her best guard, Gilda, could upset her. It was only a matter of short time and a little blood shed before Luna was crushed and she was the sole ruler of Equestria. EVERYONE would love her, and only her.

Bonbon put on her own armor and nodded, a knot of fear forming in her throat. She swallowed it and smirked mischeviously and followed Twi and AJ down the hall, where the two had begun running swiftly to join the battle feild.
"I hope we haven't missed too much." Twilight said as she dipped into Luna's room and grabbed the Elements, where they still lay scattered about the table. "Everypony carry an Element, we need to collect all of the Elements of Harmony and aim the rainbow swirly thingie at Celestia."
"Rainbow Swirly thingie?" Bonbon questioned. "You had to be there." she unicorn replied, shoving Generosity into her hooves. "Nopony get involved in the fighting, ok? We're just going out to find all the ponies as quickly as possible. The armor is for saftey."

Applejack took her own Element, wrapping it around her neck, and Twilight put hers ontop of her head, just behind her horn.

A crowd of New Lunar Republic soldiers stood rigid in unorganized lines, they weren't as heavily armored, but there was just as many of them as there were Solar Empire ponies, and, unlike them, they had complete faith in their side of the war, determination in their eyes, ready to die for the sake of freedom and the fall of Celestia.

Luna flew over them, staying low to the ground and landing in front of the army, her wings flared out at her sides. Everyone waited for the command.

Princess Celestia landed in front of her army as well, seeing her sister from across the battlefeild. Although she was still far away, the white alicorn could clearly see every detail of determination and regret etched onto her face. She felt no regret, however, for Luna was dead in her eyes. The only thing that mattered was perishing the NLR.

"Its gonna be startin' any moment now. We gotta hurry an' find the rest of the Elements 'fore too much blood is spilled." AJ said as they hurried down the maze of hallways.
"WHERE is Dash and Pinkie?" Twilight snapped to nopony in particular, just needing to release some of her building stress.

With a mighty roar, Celestia's words rung clearly through the battle field, "ATTACK!!"
Luna shouted, "ATTACK!" as well, although most of the ponies were already rushing foward. There was a very short period of time when both sides were surging foward in a wave of anger, hate, and eagerness, before the two sides clashed into chaotic battle. There was fighting in the air, as well, against the pegasi, beams of magic were shot at each other, swords were swung, guns were fired. Luna held her long sword firmly in her mouth, clashing it against a smaller sword of a guard, one who she did not recognize. After a few seconds of swift blocking and lunging, her sword plunged into his chest, peircing even his armor, and the guard fell to the ground.

Twilight ran out into the battle, racing out into the open and joining the fighting around the edges, trying to pick off as many ponies as possible rather than get involved with close combat. Applejack, on the other hand, boldy ran ahead, getting used to her mechanical leg, and dove straight into the thick of the battle. With each strong kick, she heard jaws break and yelps escape before dodging another blow.

Bonbon felt a knot of fear and dread explode in her stomach, rising up in her throat like bile, but she swallowed it. She was trembling, she was never quite as brave or couragous, but it was the NLR, it was Lyra and all of her new friends, it was for Equestria! She took out her pistol and ran foward, aiming, firing, running, aiming, firing, running, aiming, firing, running, reloading, running, aiming, firing, running, aiming, firing, running, and so on.
