    Evangeline gave him a small smile and nodded. She was pretty happy on the inside that he was choosing Evangeline over someone like Caroline.
    Caroline smiled, "Late tonight sounds good." She purred to him, her voice low.

    "I'll see you later tonight. But, I need to go now, bye!" He hung up the phone after Caroline's response. "It works out for the both of you, when you leave, she comes over." Andrew explained to Evangeline. "I'm glad I can stay alone with you."

    "Me too." Evangeline said shyly. She felt warm inside because Andrew was glad he was able to stay with her. "So, how about that game?" She asked him, her eyes moving back to the game board already spread out.

    "Would you rather be snuggled up together and play the board game? Or one or the other?" Andrew asked her, putting his arm around her to hold her close. He didn't really care about playing the boardgame now, he just wanted to be with her.

    Evangeline felt her face heat up and turn a bright pink. "W-Well, monopoly takes forever to play, there is no way we could finish." She said to him, finding it hard to find her voice.

    "Let's just sit on the couch together and talk." Andrew suggested, standing up. "I'll take care of the game once you leave. Do you know when you have to leave?" He asked.

    "Whenever you want to get rid of me." She joked to him, "But really, it doesn't matter. Whenever you need me gone." Evangeline stood up and smiled, "Talking sounds nice." She said to him happily.

    "You'll never be gone if I had it my way." Andrew replied, sitting down on the couch. He pulled up a blanket, beckoning Evangeline to sit next to him by lightly hitting the space next to him. Yet, he knew that Caroline will come over here sometime tonight.

    Evangeline smiled at him, blushing yet again. She sat next to him and pulled her knees up to her chest. "So, how long are you home alone?" She asked him, trying to spark a conversation.

    "Probably for a couple more days." Andrew replied, pulling the blanket over the two of them. "My parents are on a business trip.

    "I was just curious." She said lightly, wrapping her arms around her knees.

    "How long do you want to stay here?" He asked, moving closer to her and wrapping his arm around her. Andrew wanted to get as close to her as he could.

    "I-I don't know." She said softly, "I like being here." Evangeline told him, not looking over to make eye contact. "When do I need to leave?"

    "Whenever you want." He replied. "But you know Caroline will have to be here sometime tonight. I don't know how you'll feel about being in the same room as her." He held her close, allowing her to rest her head on his chest.

    Evangeline nodded, "I'll leave around seven." She said to him, hesitating before resting her head on his chest. "It's really nice of you to help Caroline." She said to him smiling, even though she didn't like the idea of Caroline and Andrew alone together.

    "Okay, but you don't need to leave so early." Andrew replied. "I don't like the idea of being alone with her as much as you do. But, I try to be kind to everyone." He explained.

    Evangeline smiled, "You're very sweet." She said to him softly. She cleared her throat, "So what time do I need to go then?"

    (sorry, just wondering. Because sometimes it doesn't work.)


    "I was hoping not until school started tomorrow." Andrew murmured. "You can hang out in my room while Caroline is here. Once Caroline leaves, I want to be with you again." If she leaves... he added to himself.
