"No, this is the last book." She said, showing him the cover of the book, a red tinted forest with two wolves hidden in brush. Evangeline smiled a small smile at his remark, "Well I am glad you consider me sane enough to say that." She said with a light tone in her voice.

"I had to leave the cafeteria. It's not that you're insane, just the girls that were with me at lunch were being way too flirty with me. One was saying she's had sex with me when I only know her name!" He explained. "Today has been normal until then." He looked down at his books, afraid at what she would say.
-
Evangeline looked at him more closely, biting her lip when she realized who she was talking to. I hadn't noticed it was Andrew, now I made a fool out of myself in front of him! She sighed, and he has other girls wanting him, my chances are ruined.. She looked up at him, "They just like you, that's all.." She said slowly to him, her heart burned slightly with her words.
-
"It was obvious." He muttered. "I don't even like them and they're in groups that I don't even want to be near." He shook his head at the vivid memory of what they did. "Have you read manga before?" He asked, trying to get lunch off his mind.
-
Evangeline smiled and gave him a small nod, "Sometimes I read things such as Vampire Knight, Fruits Basket, Pokemon, different things like that. But normally I stick to my fiction novels." She said lightly, but she wasn't able to shake the fact that her crush was hopeless due to the fact that other girls liked him.
-
"Cool. I read pokémon manga sometimes. But, yeah I usually stick to novels though." He unzipped his bag and got out the first Legend of Zelda manga. "We should hang out sometime. I can show you the first Legend of Zelda manga along with some books. Maybe some video games too if you would like to do that." He suggested.
-
Evangeline felt her heart skip a beat as he asked her to hang out with him. "Uhm.. y-yeah sure. That sounds lovely." She said to him, a soft smile on her lips. "That.. sounds.. great." She whispered to herself.
-
Andrew pulled out a piece of paper and pencil. He scribbled down his address and cell phone number. "Just call me before you head over to my place. I'm free everyday after school and this weekend." He handed her the paper. "Keep that safe." He smiled at her warmly.
-
"O-okay." She said, taking the slip of paper from him, her cheeks flushed red as her hand grazed his lightly. "Well, I'm free tonight, if you would like.." She started, not wanting to sound too eager to go spend time with him outside of school.
-
"Sure. We can work on homework if we have a lot. But I'll try to finish before you get there." He agreed. "I can't wait. I'll walk with you back to your locker if you'd like. Class should start soon."
-
"Sure.." She said happily, nodding to him. Evangeline carefully slipped the piece of paper into her book, somewhere she knew she wouldn't lose it.
-
"Where's your locker?" He asked as they started roaming the halls.
-
"By the science building." She told him, leading him in the direction of her locker. It had been a pretty good walk away from the library.
-
"Okay." He said as they headed towards the building. "Let's hope we don't run into those two weirdos on the way there." He muttered.
-
Evangeline didn't fully understand what he meant as they walked together, but she was too happy to question anything. Mason turned the corner and spotted her lover, with another girl. She stormed up to them, pulling Evangeline away, making her lose footing and fall to the floor. Mason ignored her, "What the hell are you doing with another girl?!" She shouted at Andrew, making people stop in the hall to look at her.
-
"Not you again..." He muttered under his breath. "I told you I'm not your boyfriend! I barely know you!" He tried not to lose his temper and helped Evangeline up. "Don't go around pushing people around! You have no right to do that nor tell me who I can and cannot be with."
-
"Uh yeah I do, you're mine!" She yelled at him, throwing a glare at Evangeline, who cowered behind Andrew. "Don't be a little slut, and get off of my boyfriend." Mason hissed at her, causing her to bit her lip as she backed away from him. "Stop cheating on me you a**hole!"
-
"Oh my God. Leave Mason! Stop harassing me!" He turned to Evangeline. "Let's just ignore her and walk out of here. We can report her later." He turned back to Mason. "For the last time. I am not your boyfriend. If you keep this up there is no way in hell I ever will."
-
"That's what you think..." Mason sneered to him, pulling him by his collar to meet his lips. before letting go of him, she bit down on his lip hard and let go, winking at him as she turned away. Evangeline looked at Andrew, "If you two got a thing, don't let me make it awkward.." She said slowly to him, not wanting to disrupt something that he already had.
-
"She was the weirdo I was telling you about." He muttered. "We don't have a thing going on but she randomly kisses me before she walks away. I only know her name, promise."
