How strange. The air was thick and heavy with the scent of cats, yet none could be seen. Alert and cautious, eight black paws trekked through the dark and eerie environment, moving in synchronized footsteps. The pair of cats curiously stared forward at the large figure standing in the distance, the one that got bigger and bigger as they grew closer. As the details slowly began to emerge, the two saw it resembled the strange homes that the Nofurs lived within, except much, much larger. They couldn't help but realize that the cat scent got stronger the further they walked, and began to think that it was wafting from inside the enormous house. The funny thing was… the air was absent of the strong scent of Nofurs. The house must be abandoned, however, it wasn't empty.

They wondered what had lead them here. It seemed moments ago they were hunting, and the next they were standing a few yards away from a Nofur mansion. There was a strange feeling tickling at their paws, one that pulled them in this direction.

"Sister, what do you believe could be within this abandoned Nofur nest?" Questioned Dioxin in his icy, breath-like voice, as he stopped and waited for her to answer.

"What else could it be, other than a gang of cats? And from the strength of the smell, it has to be more than just a few, I'm guessing," The black she-cat beside him replied, leaning forward to see a bit better what the house looked like. Cyanide was a bit hesitant to travel any closer to it, for even though she was pretty confident, she knew it was a stupid move to charge into a cluster of cats so badly outnumbered.

"Then what should we do, approach or flee?" The tom asked, correcting his slouching posture.

When Dioxin said the word "flee", Cyanide's hesitance dissipated. "Let's go check this place out. What's the worst thing that could happen?"

"I ask of you not to ask that question. It'll get me ranting again, and I do not wish to waste my breath."

Cyanide just smirked and chuckled sinisterly as she started for the entrance of the mansion, followed by her brother.

Now what could this strange estate have in store for the two siblings?

The post was edited 1 time, last by Skyrider ().

  • Capone looked down at them from atop the porch swing, arranging herself quite like a queen. "Sup with you two?"

  • The black she-cat's ears raised to the sound of a voice, and her eyes soon followed. It was another cat, lounging in a swing. Did she live in this mansion? It seemed so, and so that's what the two cats went on believing. Cyanide smiled the most friendly smile she could muster, and opened her mouth to reply to Capone. But before she could answer, Dioxin cut her off, bowing his head before speaking. It was like him to have manners in front of those who seemed superior to him.

"We seemed to have stumbled upon you're estate. May I ask–"

Cyanide rolled her eyes and interrupted him. "What is this place?"

  • "The Mansion. The residents are called the Elite." Capone meowed, standing up on the swing and stretching out. "And I'm Capone, the heiress."

  • "The Elite? I think I've heard about you before, but the memory is hazy," Cyanide continued. "You're the heiress, huh? Sounds fancy."

The black tom beside her dipped his head again. "I'm called Dioxin, and this is my twin, Cyanide. Pleasure to meet someone of such a high position."

"So, this Elite.. is it lookin' for members?" The she-cat asked Capone.

  • "Always." Capone purred, scarlet flecked eyes glinting. Her long fangs stuck ever so slightly out of her mouth- even when it was closed. He mother had told her a few times that she was quite a likeness of her grandfather Oreo.

  • Cyanide grinned, after seeing she had quite the same trait as Capone, having exceptionally long fangs.
"Is it, now?" She asked for clarification, without waiting for a reply before she turned to her twin brother. "What do you think?" The black cat spoke in a whisper.

    "On.. joining the Elite?"

"Yes, of course. I've heard rumors. They're powerful and intelligent, my kind of cats. Others fear them, you know, and you know what that means, I'm sure."

"But they will expect our die hard loyalty once we join, if they even let us. No offense, but you are not the best with following orders."

Cyanide sneered. "Whatever. You're good with that, I'll handle it." The she-cat turned towards the one sitting in the swing. "Well, Miss Capone, will you take us into... your Elite?"

  • "Well the hope is that the clanners are dying hard really." Capone meowed wryly, maw curve upwards in a smile. "Yah- we'll take you."

  • "Anti-Clan organization? Hm," Cyanide mewed to herself, before looking up straight into Capone's. She and her brother let an identical grin take place on their lips. "Then we're in."

  • Cyanide grinned at Capone. "Sounds great," Purred the black she-cat before looking at her brother, "Come on, Dioxin." She wave her tail to gesture him to follow.

He did as he was told, trotting after Cyanide and the cat that would show them around the mansion.

  • Capone passed by the Parlor first thing- right now it was empty. "My mother- the leader, is sometimes there. If you're ever on Perimeter duty you take new comers to her or me- whoever happens to be there at the time." Capone meowed.

  • Dioxin was melting this knowledge into his brain so he'd never forget, while Cyanide seemed to be just admiring the sights. She wasn't stupid though, she could multitask. Look and listen.

  • "And as for a room- yall can pretty much choose any room in the Mansion." Capone meowed as she headed towards the stairs. Yah! She was giving this tour as an heiress! And one day she'd get one of her minions to do it... When she was leader.

  • "Can't really count- there's a lot though." Capone meowed. Fewer trainees running around than she'd like... But there were a few litters. Not to mention her mother's. She'd have to shape that one up in due time.

  • "Wow," The black cat mewed, "So it's like an anti-Clan of diabolical geniuses or something?" As she sped up to catch up with Capone, the chain around her neck jingling against the metal capsule on the end.

Listening to his sister's question, he smiled and shook his head.

  • "Varies from person to person- our leader's a pretty smart one though." Shame that Columbine was in the way though. Capone may be on the heiress throne right now... But it was still only second best. And every moment her mother lived she couldn't enjoy the full extent of her birthright.

  • "Cool, I like the sound of your leader. Smart cats are the best. It disgusts me when cats have all muscles and absolutely no brains, ugh."

"Cyanide's pretty smart, well, much more than most,"
    Dioxin commented, his ears flicking.

"Why thank you, Dioxin," Purred Cyanide, who was wearing a smirk.
