"I just told you! My name is sonic!
Sonic smiled, "By the way, your in green hill zone, on western island! My name is Sonic!" the young azure hedgehog squeaked. -
"Sorry about her. She doesn't listen. My name is Max and this is Abby," Max introduced.

"Uh... your not going to ask about my name..?" sonic asked, extremely confused.

"Not really," Max said.

"Well then, theres a first for everything, Whats next?" he asked with a curios shine in his emerald eyes.

"Have you seen something like this around here?" Abby asked and held out her emerald.

"Wow! You have one too?! I have.. uh.... three!" he said smiling.

"Good. We need them," Abby said happily.

"Well i never said i'd hand them over, but..... I just can't trust someone with those emeralds in the hands of someone that I don't know..." sonic said saddly, "T-they are my only friends..."

"That's depressing," Max said.
"We really aren't ones to talk," Abby said. "We're on a mission. Give it over or your coming with us." -
"Your scaring me..." sonic said, his ears pinning back, lightly in fear.

"She also has that impression. Look, we aren't from here and-," Abby covered Max's mouth.
"Not one word. He shouldn't have to get involved," Abby said. -
"I still won't just hand them over! Those things are so powerful you don't even know!" Sonic exlamed, his ears pinning back in anger. "Who do you think i am!? I just not going to hand it over all nice and perfect! I don't even know where you came from! YOU APPEARED OUT OF THIN AIR!!!"

Abby growled, "You think I don't know their power? They destroy the world! I don't care if you want to fight or hand them over easily! I made a promise to avenge those lost and I'm not letting a blue rat stop me!"
Max held Abby back. -
Sonic growled back, "for your information, IM NOT A RAT! I'M SICK OF EVERYONE CALLING ME A RAT!" he roared.

"Well excuse me!" Abby pulled herself out of Max's grip and stormed off.
"Wow. Not even here for an hour and she's already mad," Max said. He turned to Sonic and sighed, "I'm sorry about her. She's been through a lot the past 10 years. She saw her mother die for crying out loud," he said the last part quietly. -
"I've seen my intire family die in front of my eyes, my uncle, dad, and mother..." sonic hissed, his keen ears still picking it up.

"She never even knew her father. We grew up with death and misery," Max said.

"I was mistreated and was thrown out from anywhere I was, even the forest." sonic mumbled, he then proceed to whisper to himself, "I only want a friend..."
