Bonjour, and welcome to MountainClan! This is a new role play group that offers a friendly and advanced environment. Sign-ups are currently open, and an up-to-date list of ranks is listed below. MountainClan is a take off of the original four clans in the Warrior's books. This territory is comprised of four clans: NightClan, MoorClan, RippleClan, and MountainClan*. The role play will take place within MountainClan, although there will be references to the other three clans during meetings, battles, et cetera.

MountainClan makes its camp in the foothills of a large mountain. While during the warmer months the rocky peaks serve as an excellent training and hunting ground, the harsh snows of leaf-bear make it a treacherous and formidable place for even the most experienced. The camp is mostly open, though rocks and craggy over-hangs lined with moss serve as comfortable dens, shielded from wind gusts. The leader's den is set higher up and away from the rest of the camp in a small cave. The warriors, apprentices, elders, and queens all sleep in similar dens along the foothills. The medicine cat's den is located opposite the leader's and is nearly twice the size to accommodate sick cats. The tiny fishers and crags serve as the medicine cat's storage area for herbs and berries.
The mountain is called Silvertooth, named for its prominent summit where cats of all the clans converse with StarClan, their ancient warrior ancestors. While adventurous warriors occasionally patrol the mountain to mark borders and catch small birds and voles, it is nearly impassible in the winter. The majority of MountainClan's territory rests below the mountain in a dense pine forest that follows the bank of a mountain stream, and ends along the shore of a lake.
MountainClan cats do the majority of their hunting in the pine forest, stalking mice, voles, birds, and occasionally hairs. They are not particularly skilled at fishing and the mountain stream does not offer large fish.
The pine forest does not extend for very long in either direction; it dwindles to a swamp on the right which gives way to NightClan's territory. To the left, rocky moorland comprises the territory of MoorClan. Not far beyond the lake shore is the island territory of RippleClan. The four clans gather every full moon at the edge of the lake where it is fed by the mountain stream.
Please Note: I understand if this is confusing, and I will try to make a basic map for the territory to accompany this description as soon as I can!

1) ALL of Warriorcatsrpg rules apply, as do all other generic, common-sense role play rules. I'm not a mean person. If you break one or do something that is outlandish I'll only give you a friendly reminder. If it continues, then we'll have a problem.
2) Please distinguish between in character and out of character.
3) This is an ADVANCED role play. You will NOT be accepted if you do not fill out an ADVANCED form.
4) You will be expected to keep your posts at least five sentences long, although more is quite acceptable. I understand loss of muse or lack of inspiration. If you're suffering from this, just let us know and ask for help! I want to keep this environment as friendly and non-intimidating as possible!
5) Please make an effort to be active. If you have to leave suddenly while you are in the middle of role playing, please let everyone know! If you are going to be gone for a long period of time, please let me know so you aren't removed from the clan/role play. If I believe you are too inactive, you will be warned and then--if this is not remedied--removed!
6) Post that you have read and understand the rules somewhere when you ask to join, otherwise you will not be considered.
7) I greatly encourage discussion about the role play, plot ideas, and the like! Although I will have final say over what does and doesn't happen (I don't want anything too outlandish Marry/Gary Sue-spawning), PLEASE run ideas by me and other clanmates. If you have an idea/plot you wish to discuss privately, my inbox is open!
