  • OOC: Just jump-in, no form necessary

Anna winced, clutching her wrist, which was bleeding because she'd just dropped her glass she'd been carrying. She'd been on her way to her sisters house, which was only a few blocks away, when she had dropped it. She pressed her lips together, the cut stinging, and picked up the shards that had fallen onto the sidewalk by the dimly lit street. Oh, great, Mom's favorite glass is broken, she thought, swearing under her breath.

  • Anna looked up, surprised. "Oh, uh..." she stammared, mentally scolding herself for not saying something intelligent. After a moments pause, she finally responded, "Yes please, if you don't mind." She smiled sheepishly. She didn't know why she was letting a total stranger help her, but she did need the help.

  • Anna smiled at him gratefully. "Thank you so much," she said, all the shards picked up from the ground. She gazed at him in thought, wondering why a stranger would want to help her, but quickly looked away. She glanced at the cut on her wrist and bit her lower lip, then moved her green gaze to the broken glass in her hands.

  • She smiled. "Thanks again," she said gratefully. She bandaged her wrist quickly, glad for the relief it brought.

  • She stared at him for a little while, a small smile on her face, before she snapped out of it and gathered all the glass. She rose to her feet, clearing her throat.

  • She glanced back up at him. "Oh, I glass I was supposed to take to my older sister's house, but uh, I dropped it," she explained, then mentally scolded herslef. Of course I dropped it, stupid! Why else would you pick up the pieces of glass if it hadn't fallen? God, I can be so stupid sometimes! she thought.

  • Anna nodded slightly. "So... I'm Anna," she said, extending a hand. She was dreading seeing her sister and would do anything to delay it.

  • Anna smiled, then paused in thought. "I'm not sure, but I think my mother mentioned something about it being Sheol, but I'm not quite sure," she said.

  • Anna's eyes widened. "Wow, are you sure? That's really generous," she said, shocked. :o

  • Anna's jaw dropped open, but she quickly closed it. "Wow... Thank you," she said gratefully, gazing at him with wide eyes.
