  • He pressed his muzzle softly to her shoulder before looking down at the bottom. "I will." he murmured, still purring.

  • Ebonystar smiled softly then. "Okay," she mewed. "Let's get down from here." The tabby gently picked her way around, clambering down the tree carefully.

  • Mourningsong landed rather clumsily on the ground, stumbling forward for a moment. Soon he regained his balance and nodded. "Seems like it." he mewed, his gaze drifting upwards.

  • Nodding, he briskly padded after her, still slightly ruffled by the experience. "You can say that again!" he exclaimed.

  • Since he was starving, he picked up one of the only birds left in the pile, a shrew. Sitting down next to her, he crouched and began to eat.

  • Ebonystar then got to her paws and glanced around. She yawned, stretching. "It's time." She whispered quietly before walking out of camp towards their selected meeting place.

  • Mourninsong instantly leaped to his paws once the meal was done. Nudging it away from him, he stretched once and let out a yawn. Shaking out his fur, he began to trot towards their place.

  • Ebonystar reached their destination amd sat, waiting. She briefly scanned the area for scents before sitting down on a tall rock.

  • The toms gentle gaze swept over the camp quickly before he slipped out of camp. Picking up a trot, he swiftly weaved his way through the somewhat eerie forest and to their spot. Upon seeing Ebonystar, he let out a welcoming purr.

  • Ebonystar licked his cheek happily in return. She twined her long, striped tail with his and pressed her fur against his, amber orbs light with happiness.
