She smiled. "Good." Licking his ear, she padded away to hunt.

A purr rumbled in his throat as he watched her pad away. Should he follow her? Or leave her to hunt alone? Torn between the two, he called "Do you want me to come?"
-
"I'll be alright. I wish to think. I'd love for you to check borders although!" She called back softly, winking over her shoulder. Ebonystar then dove into thick undergrowth and disappeared.
-
The Tom couldn't help but shake his head softly while purring. That was the she-cat he had fallen in love with. Turning, he began to walk away towards the two mountains a little bit off from where he stood.
-
Ebonystar purred as she trotted away, breaking into a run. She felt like flying! Finally skidding to a halt, she sniffed cautiously. SHe knew something was here, not just prey.
OOC- Time for something exciting that's not just love!!! Watch me do ma thang!
-
OOC: o_o what is it? xD
IC: The Tom began to sniff the air for any unfamiliar scents, but found none near the twin peaks they saw everyday.
-
OOC- You'll see
Ebonystar stiffened in recognition. But, it was too late. The badger slammed into the she-cat, it's rank scent strong. How could she not have noticed?! She was then on the ground, dirt wafting around her as the black and white striped creature stared it her face, growling. She gave a shriek as she felt strong claws rip her fur and flesh.
-
Upon hearing the shriek, soft and distant, the tom took off towards the sound. Seeing the badger's claws sink into the she-cat's fur, rage began to build up inside of him. His hind legs jammed into the ground, exhilaration pumping through him. Letting out a snarl, he let his back arch and his claws sink into the earth. A louder snarl escaped the toms parted jaws, trying to get the badgers attention away from her, it pained him seeing her in pain.
-
After sinking claws in deep, the badger whipped his head up to the tom, spit dripping from his mouth. He practically trampled Ebonystar as he lunged to tackle Mourningsong. Ebonystar lay on the ground, in pain. Blood ran through her fur, amber eyes flashing in worry and reflecting hurt. She tried to get up and help Mourningsong, but slipped and fell back down.
-
Mourningsong's fur was bristling as the badger came closer to him. Seeing the spit flying towards him, he dodged to the side. Still a spitting rage, the Tom began to lock into motion, like an old mechine clicking on, and turning the chains. Letting his claws slide out, he leaped forward from the side of the badger. He slashed out his forepaws, aiming to claw th badgers side. Landing softly on his paws, he rushed over to stand in front of his Lead, and his 'lover'. His lips were drawing back, in a full fledged snarl.
-
The badger made an odd squealing sound and shook, scattering blood droplets. He snarled back at Mourningsong, trying to make it around him for the she-cat he protected. He landed a few blows, aiming for either one of them. Ebonystar hissed and tried to scoot away from the badger while striking out with claws while she was still on the ground. All she did was anger him more and barely scrape him.
-
Mourningsong leaped in front of the badgers claws so he could not harm the she-cat any further. Letting out a yowl of anger, he flung himself head on with the ugly, black and white striped animal. His claws sunk into the badgers face as he drew himself onto it's back, ignoring any signs of fussing it was making. He only had one goal; to defeat this badger at any coast. So far he had been lucky, no scratches. But that could change any moment.
-
The badger, now furiously angry but knew he was defeated, whipped around, trying to fling Mourningsong into a tree. He trampled Ebonystar again as he pounded away, blood and spit flying behind the beast. Blood, spit, and a rank-scent filled the small clearing. Ebonystar, hacking, tried to stand. Her amber orbs were worried and pained while her striped coat was covered in sticky, crimson blood. Her fur was ripped and clumped as she searched for Mourningsong. "Are you alright?" She croaked. "I'm sorry. It's my fault. I should've known it's smell." Ebonystar completely blamed herself.
-
All of a sudden, Mourningsong was soaring through the air as if he were a bird himself. The toms fragile body slammed into a tree, the sudden force knocking the breath out of him. sliding to the ground, he felt dizzy for a moment. Regaining his balance and breath, he leaped to his paws and padded closer to the she-cat. Coming to a halt next to her, he gently stroked his tail over her flank. "Its alright, no one takes the blame." he purred softly, ignoring the stinging pain Tom a gash on his back.
-
Ebonystar blinked at him, deciding not to argue that it was her fault even though she still believed it was. "Well, then we need to get back to camp," her voice shook as she sniffed his wound. Ebonystar felt faint from her wounds, watching the rhythm of her blood dripping to the ground.
-
He Tom leaned forward to lick at the blood that came from her wounds. If he licked up the blood and cleaned the wound, it wouldn't get infected. He gently nudged her flank, once again ignoring the pain that shot through him like wildfire. "Lean on my shoulder" he purred softly, waiting for Ebonystar to get up.
-
"You're hurt too!" She argued. But she leaned on his shoulder, paws a bit wobbly. She looked up at him with round eyes. Ebonystar sighed.
OOC- Is there a med. cat???
-
Every step the tom made, he winced, but every time pain shot through him, he clenched his mouth shut and kept walking. "I-it's nothing I c-can't handle." he stammered, still letting Ebonystar lean against his shoulder. Looking down at her, he forced a purr, even though he was in pain.
OOC: No.. I believe not o_o
-
Ebonystar stopped leaning. "Don't lie to me, Mourningsong." She steadied herself and walked forward by herself, wobbling. She gritted her teeth and looked back at him.
-
The tom clenched his teeth before he trotted after her, wincing at every step. "It hurts.." he murmured softly. His heart thudded in his chest as he caught up with her, leaning forward with a question buzzing in his mind. "Will we still meet tonight?" he asked her.
