  • Jadefur walked out of camp, looking back over her shoulder to make sure Blossompaw was following her.

  • "Um," she looked around and started stalking in the direction. She stopped and sniffed the air. "Ugh, it heard me!"

  • "Good try, Blossompaw," Jadefur said,"Try to catch the squirrel that I just smelled."

  • Jadefur watched Blossompaw as she crept over to the tree, careful not to say anything that would break her concentration, even though she was wanting to know what Blossompaw had scented.

  • She stopped and her tail was about to flick. She dashed to the tree and burried her nose under a root. She pulled out a nest of baby mice.

  • "Well done, Blossompaw!" Jadefur praised warmly."You will make a fine warrior one day."

  • "I did," Jadefur replied, smiling."See if you can scent it, and then catch it for me." she encouraged.

  • "Um, ok." She laid down the nest and siffed the air and began to stalk near a grass patch.

  • Jadefur watched Blossompaw as she stalked the squirrel, just to make sure she was doing it right, and smiled with pride at how well Blossompaw was doing.

  • She sprang with an early leap. Blossompaw pounced on the tip of its bushy tail when it narrowly almost escaped. She picked it up by its waist and crunched down on t.

  • "Well done, Blossompaw!" Jadefur praised,"But next time, get a little closer before you pounce." she advised.
